Method and apparatus are disclosed for controlling charge levels of vehicle batteries. An example vehicle includes a battery, a battery sensor for detecting a current of the battery, a power connector for connecting to an external electrical device, a relay electrically connected between the power connection and the battery, and a body control module to position the relay in a closed state in response to determining that the current is greater than zero and the battery is not in an overcharge state.

In a controller and a control method for a power converter of a vehicle, the power converter has a first operation mode and a second operation mode defining power supply modes of first and second DC power supplies with respect to a load. The first operation mode is an operation mode set when the first and second DC power supplies are electrically connected in series to an electric wire electrically connected to the load. The second operation mode is an operation mode set when the first and second DC power supplies are electrically connected in parallel to the electric wire. The controller includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to execute warm-up promotion control of a catalytic device. The electronic control unit is configured to set the operation mode of the power converter to the second operation mode when executing the warm-up promotion control.

A battery temperature adjustment system includes: a temperature adjustment device adjusts a temperature of a power storage device; and a processor. A setting mode of the temperature adjustment device includes: a first mode in which, in response to a travel route of includes a charging facility, the temperature is adjusted within a first temperature range suitable for charging at a time of arrival at the facility; and a second mode in which, in response to receiving a predetermined operation for adjusting the temperature within a second temperature range suitable for charging or traveling, the temperature is adjusted within the second temperature range. The processor controls the temperature adjustment device to adjust the temperature according to the setting mode; and when the setting mode is the first mode, rejects the predetermined operation and maintain the first mode in a case where the predetermined operation is received.

WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle provided with a traveling machine body in which a battery is disposed includes a first external power supply mode and a second external power supply mode in which electric power can be supplied from the battery to the outside of the traveling machine body. In the first external power supply mode, movement of the traveling machine body is prohibited, and in the second external power supply mode, movement of the traveling machine body is permitted.
