Transport cart for piece goods

A transport wagon with a loading platform configured to have a loaded state, wherein in the loaded state, cargo may be loaded onto the loading platform and wherein the loading platform extends along a longitudinal axis; a strapping system configured to secure the cargo on the loading platform, wherein the strapping system comprises at least one tensioning means configured to be guided, with the aid of a conveying device, at least partially around the cargo loaded onto the loading platform thereby tensioning the cargo against the loading platform; wherein the loading platform is delimited at a frontal end by transverse side parts comprising the conveying device of the strapping system; and wherein the at least one tensioning means is affixed to the transport wagon and configured to move along the longitudinal axis relative to the loading platform.

Slip grab ratchet binder

A slip grab ratchet binder with a primary hook having an enlarged diameter portion at a tip. A grab hook has an eyelet for sliding over the primary hook from a proximal end to the tip where it is obstructed from sliding off the primary hook. The grab hook and primary hook work in combination in a ratchet binder device to provide a slip grab ratchet binder for attaching to various hook points.

VAN CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A row of docking stations to stow containers or trolleys is provided along at least one side of a van cargo storage area and a corridor for loading and unloading containers or trolleys individually or in groups from the rear of the van is provided. Preferably, the docking stations are automated. Interference with the storage and removal of containers or trolleys by the wheel wells of the vans or other vehicles is eliminated. Motorized mechanisms capture and lift the containers or trolleys above the level of the wheel wells for stowage in the docking stations to maximize the available storage area beyond that available on the floor of the cargo area. Individual containers or trolleys may be maintained in docking stations until needed.

A strap winding device for efficiently and easily winding up a strap such as a cargo strap after use. The strap winding device generally includes a main body which is adapted to rest upon a structure such as a trailer on a vehicle such as a truck. A mount may be connected to the main body, with the mount being removably inserted within an opening on the trailer, such as a trailer stake pocket. A winder is rotatably connected to the mount by a sleeve, with the winder being operable to rotate a reel onto which the strap may be wound. The reel includes a pair of prongs which are tapered towards each other to ease removal of the strap after winding.

Automatic Tarp Control System and Method for Dump Trucks
20250269706 · 2025-08-28 ·

A tarp control system for a dump truck controls a motorized spool to automatically extend and retract the tarp in response to a non-continuous input from a user. A rotary encoder attached to the motorized spool outputs the spool's motion to a controller. In response to user input, the controller controls the motor of the motorized spool to rotate in the proper direction to extend or retract the tarp. Rearward-biased tarp arms pull the tarp over the dump truck bed as the motorized spool unwinds. When the tarp reaches a (previously calibrated) fully extended position, the controller stops motion of the motorized spool. An inverse process retracts the tarp automatically in response to a non-continuous user input. The tarp control system allows a dump truck operator to initiate, then ignore, the tarp operation and concentrate on driving or other tasks, as the tarp extends or retracts automatically.
