INTERACTIVE AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE COMMAND CONTROLLER
Various embodiments relate generally to autonomous vehicles and associated mechanical, electrical and electronic hardware, computer software and systems, and wired and wireless network communications to provide an autonomous vehicle fleet as a service. In particular, a method may include receiving, at an autonomous vehicle system, a command to control an ambient feature associated with the autonomous vehicle system. One or more courses of action may be determined based on the command. In addition, one or more probabilistic models associated with the one or more courses of action may also be determined. Based on the one or more probabilistic models, confidence levels may also be determined to form a subset of the one or more courses of action. A course of action from the subset of the one or more courses of action may then be executed at the autonomous vehicle system responsive to the command.
Electronic device
An electronic device includes: a substrate; a housing which covers the substrate; a conductive pin mounted on one edge portion of the substrate. The conductive pin projects from the substrate along a plane of the substrate, the conductive pin includes a projection portion and a soldered portion which is soldered to the substrate, and the soldered portion includes a conducting portion which is electrically conduction with a circuit wiring of the substrate.

Information providing apparatus
An information providing apparatus in a vehicle coordinates with a first light emitter including light-emitting elements arranged in a linear form including at least one line on a compartment side of a door of the vehicle, and a second light emitter projecting light onto a projection target member in a forward visual field of a driver of the vehicle. The information providing apparatus repeatedly acquires status information including surroundings status indicating status of surroundings of the vehicle, and executes control to the first light emitter and second light emitter based on the status information. The control makes the first light emitter and second light emitter provide light emission in a light emission mode associated with acquired surroundings status indicated by the status information.
Illumination apparatus for vehicle accessory
An illumination apparatus for a vehicle accessory is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a lighting device disposed proximate the vehicle accessory comprising a persistent luminescent portion. The persistent luminescent portion is configured to charge in response to an excitation emission from a light source. The apparatus further comprises a detection sensor configured to detect a device proximate the vehicle and a controller configured to activate the light source in response to the detection. The light source is configured to charge the persistent luminescent portion to emit an output emission.
ENHANCED OPERATION OF VEHICLE HAZARD AND LIGHTING COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
A system includes a microcontroller that controls illumination of a plurality of vehicle lights that are operable in a flashing state wherein the plurality of lights operate as hazard flashers visible on a front and rear of a vehicle and a strobing state wherein the plurality of lights operate as strobing lights visible on the front and rear of the vehicle. The system includes a strobe activation switch that provides a signal to the microcontroller to operate the plurality of vehicle lights in the second strobing state. The microcontroller operates the plurality of vehicle lights in the first hazard flasher state in response activation of an existing hazard flasher switch. The strobing state has a flash rate that is perceptibly faster than a flash rate of the flashing state.
Illuminated glass panel
A lighting glazing includes a first sheet of transparent glass or plastic with a first main face, a second main face and a rim; a flat waveguide with a first main face, a second main face, an injection rim and a beveled rim, opposite the injection rim; a light source positioned facing the injection rim of the flat waveguide, the flat waveguide being fixed via the second main face to the first main face of the first sheet of glass.
Meter assembly
A meter assembly for a vehicle instrument panel. The meter assembly includes a reflector case having a plurality of light guides extending from an inner surface of the reflector case. Neighboring ones of the plurality of light guides have different lengths and extend different distances from the inner surface of the reflector case.
Cloaking device and apparatus
A cloaking device includes a prism and a light guide. The prism is attachable to an article and is configured for directing around the article a light ray reflected from an object that is blocked from view. The prism has an object surface and an article surface spaced opposite the object surface. The guide is disposed on solely the object surface and has a refraction surface at least partially spaced apart from the object surface. The guide is configured for directing the ray through the prism such that the object is not blocked from view. The refraction surface and the ray define a first angle therebetween of less than 90. The guide is formed from a first transparent material having a first refractive index and the prism is formed from a second transparent material having a second refractive index that is greater than or equal to the first refractive index.
Dual graphics label for an input area of control device
A dual graphic label for an input element of a control device for selectively displaying a first graphic information and a second graphic information includes a first light source, a second light source, an optical masking shield, a light conducting body, and a display face. The optical masking shield has a light blocking surface with a light permeable area in a shape of the first graphic information. The light conducting body has a surface with a light diffusion area in a shape of the second graphic information. The first light source emits a first light ray and the second light source emits a second light ray. The optical masking shield is arranged between the first light source and the light conducting body, and the light conducting body is arranged between the display face and the optical masking shield.
