VEHICLE INTERIOR PANEL WITH SPIRAL DIFFUSER
A vehicle interior panel includes a diffuser spanning an air discharge opening. The diffuser has a spiral slot formed therethrough such that changing an axial distance between opposite ends of the slot changes an air flow capacity of the diffuser. The diffuser has an elegant and simplified design and can be made as one piece from a sheet material. Air is discharged from the diffuser radially and substantially equally in all radial directions. The diffuser can also function to provide ambient light from a light source and/or to deliver an air freshening agent to the passenger cabin.
Molded part
A molded part having a front side of the molded part designed as a visible side, comprising a decorative layer having a front side and a rear side opposite the front side, a carrier arranged on the rear side of the decorative layer, and a functional layer arranged on the front side of the decorative layer. The functional layer is or comprises an electrical display element, wherein the electrical display element is designed, in a switched-on operating state, for displaying a surface image and/or for realizing a display function, and/or for realizing an illumination function on the visible side of the molded part, and wherein the electrical display element is at least largely transparent and/or translucent when the operating state is switched off, so that the front side of the decorative layer is visible through the functional layer on the visible side of the molded part.

In a first step a three-dimensional transparent substrate is produced from a cross-linked polymer. In a second step the substrate is provided on an observer-side surface of the substrate with a coloring through which light can shine, at least in a subregion.

Movable panel assemblies
A vehicle includes a roof, an opening in the roof, and a window that is located forward from the opening, wherein the window has an upper end and the window is free from non-translucent structures near the upper end. A movable panel is connected to the roof for movement forward and rearward relative to the roof between a closed position and an open position. A seal is connected to the movable panel. The seal engages the window when the movable panel is in the closed position and the seal is disengaged from the window when the movable panel is in the open position.
