Systems and methods for deploying emergency roadside signaling devices are disclosed. In one aspect, system for an autonomous vehicle includes one or more signaling devices configured to visually notify other vehicles when placed on or near a roadway, and an object placing device configured to place the one or more signaling devices. The system further includes a processor and a computer-readable memory in communication with the processor and having stored thereon computer-executable instructions to cause the processor to: determine that the autonomous vehicle has experienced a malfunction, and provide instructions to the object placing device to place the one or more signaling devices on or near the roadway.

The support unit includes: a first assistant support and a second assistant support that support the sign unit; an elastic member whose both ends are respectively connected to the first assistant support and the second assistant support, the elastic member providing a restoring force to the first assistant support and the second assistant support; and a main support that supports the elastic member. The sign unit includes a flexible material such that the size thereof is changed according to the state of the support unit.
Systems and methods for deploying warning devices from an autonomous vehicle
Systems and methods are directed to deploying warning devices by an autonomous vehicle. In one example, a system includes one or more processors and memory including instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations. The operations include obtaining data indicating that a vehicle stop maneuver is to be implemented for an autonomous vehicle. The operations further include determining whether one or more warning devices should be dispensed from the autonomous vehicle during the vehicle stop maneuver based in part on the obtained data. The operations further include, in response to determining one or more warning devices should be dispensed from the autonomous vehicle, determining a dispensing maneuver for the one or more warning devices, and providing one or more command signals to one or more vehicle systems to perform the dispensing maneuver for the one or more warning devices.
Systems and methods for deploying warning devices from an autonomous vehicle
Systems and methods are directed to deploying warning devices by an autonomous vehicle. In one example, a system includes one or more processors and memory including instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations. The operations include obtaining data indicating that a vehicle stop maneuver is to be implemented for an autonomous vehicle. The operations further include determining whether one or more warning devices should be dispensed from the autonomous vehicle during the vehicle stop maneuver based in part on the obtained data. The operations further include, in response to determining one or more warning devices should be dispensed from the autonomous vehicle, determining a dispensing maneuver for the one or more warning devices, and providing one or more command signals to one or more vehicle systems to perform the dispensing maneuver for the one or more warning devices.
Roadway hazard warning assembly
A roadway hazard warning assembly for enhancing visibility of a disabled vehicle on a roadway includes a vehicle that has been disabled on the side of a roadway. A warning flag is positionable on the vehicle when the vehicle becomes disabled on the roadway. The warning flag has light reflecting properties for reflecting light from headlights of oncoming traffic. In this way the warning flag can alert the oncoming traffic to the disabled vehicle. A plurality of fastening straps is provided and each of the fastening straps is removably coupled between the warning flag and the vehicle for retaining the warning flag on the vehicle.
UAV Enabled Vehicle Perimeters
The technical description relates to perimeters for vehicles. Specific examples relate to vehicle perimeters established by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), such as autonomous drones, for a variety of vehicle types, including manually-driven, partially autonomous, and fully autonomous vehicles. Perimeter devices, vehicles, including autonomous vehicles and human-controlled vehicles, UAVs, and related systems and methods are described. Perimeter devices respond to triggering events, such as vehicle-immobilizing events, GPS-based events, and environment-based events, to establish a perimeter adjacent a vehicle such that observers can visually detect the presence of a signal member, such as a warning triangle having a reflective surface. An example vehicle includes a tractor unit, a trailer connected to the tractor unit, a storage enclosure associated with the tractor unit, and a plurality of perimeter devices disposed in the chamber. Each perimeter device of the plurality of perimeter devices includes a triangular signal member, a base member, and a UAV. Each perimeter device is adapted to deploy from the chamber and establish a perimeter by the vehicle in response to a triggering event, such as parking of the vehicle in a location for which a perimeter must be established, impact of the vehicle with another object, such as during a traffic accident, rollover of the vehicle, or mechanical and/or electrical failure of the vehicle.
Work Light
A work light includes at least one power supply unit, and at least one light unit, and at least one connection unit. The power supply unit, the light unit and the connection unit are electrically connected with each other. The light unit is detachably and pivotally coupled to the connection unit. When two or more of the light units are provided, the light units are coupled with each other in series via the connection unit. By changing the number of the light units, an overall length of the work light is selectively adjusted to adjust an illumination range of the work light according to different illumination applications.
LED emergency light and the control method thereof
The present disclosure provides an LED straight light including a light tube with two pins at both ends, an LED installed in the light tube and a driving circuit. The driving circuit includes a mains branch and a signal branch. The mains branch is coupled to the pins at one end of the light tube for transmitting power to the LED for power supply. The signal branch is coupled to the pins at the other end of the light tube for transmitting external driving signals to control the on/off of the mains branch. The LED straight light of the present disclosure is powered by two ends, one of the two ends supplies power to the LED through the mains branch, and the other end receives driving signals to control the on/off of the mains branch.
