According to one example there is provided a method comprising selecting a first location from a set of locations and analysing, by a processor, data collected from a first vehicle located within a first distance of the first location. A first value representative of a first performance parameter of the first vehicle is generated. A second value representative of a second performance parameter of the first vehicle is generated. At least one of the first and second values is compared with a first threshold and, when one of the first and second values is greater than the first threshold, a safety alert is issued greater than (in some examples, less than).

In some embodiments, a method includes determining, based on the payload, whether the remote vehicle is changing lanes to the target lane at the target time. The method includes determining that the ego vehicle is changing lanes to the target lane at approximately the target time. The method includes estimating that the ego vehicle and the remote vehicle will collide at the target lane at the target time. The method includes modifying an operation of a vehicle component of the ego vehicle so that the ego vehicle does not change lanes to the target lane at the target time.

Whether the current scenario matches a predefined scenario among a set of predefined scenarios is determined, and augmented audio output is produced according to the predefined scenario.

Vehicular safety system for controlling a safety feature
A vehicular safety system includes a rear camera, a left side camera and a right side camera disposed at a vehicle. A control includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the cameras to detect a rear-approaching vehicle that is approaching from rearward of the equipped vehicle. When reverse gear of the equipped vehicle is not engaged, and responsive to determination of a potential collision between the detected rear-approaching vehicle and the equipped vehicle, a safety feature of the equipped vehicle is triggered before actual impact occurs. If actual impact does not occur, the triggered safety feature returns to its condition that existed prior to the determination of the potential collision between the detected rear-approaching vehicle and the equipped vehicle. Operation of the safety feature when the reverse gear is engaged is different from operation of the safety feature when the reverse gear is not engaged.
