Apparatus, method, and computer program for enabling a transportation vehicle component and vehicle-to-vehicle communication module
A device, method and computer program for enabling a vehicle component and a vehicle-to-vehicle communication module. The device includes at least one interface for communication with a second vehicle component of the transportation vehicle. The second vehicle component is part of a secured cluster of vehicle components of the transportation vehicle. The device includes a control module to control the at least one interface and to receive at least one message from the second vehicle component via the at least one interface. The control module legitimates the second vehicle component based on the at least one message received from the second vehicle component. The control module enables the first vehicle component in response to the at least one received message implying that the second vehicle component has been enabled and in response to the legitimation of the second vehicle component being successful.
Trailer Landing Gear Leg Lock
The present invention relates to a trailer landing gear leg lock device that prevents the unauthorized retraction of a trailer landing gear leg to prevent a trailer from being stolen. The lock device is further comprised of two hinge-connected halves that can be placed around the landing gear leg of a trailer, wherein the halves can then be locked together via a locking mechanism. In differing embodiments of the lock device, the locking mechanism may be secured by a plurality of housings and compartments, as well a plurality of additional locks and lock covers. The device may further comprise a plurality of other theft resistant devices and accessories.
Data analysis apparatus
A data analysis apparatus includes: a processor; and a memory including a set of instructions that, when executed by the processor causes the processor to perform operations including: obtaining anomaly analysis results each including information identifying anomaly data of first and second vehicles provided with an in-vehicle network including one or more networks; identifying, for each of the first and second vehicles, a primary ECU having higher relevance to the anomaly data among ECUs connected to the in-vehicle network; identifying, for each of the first and second vehicles, ECUs connected to a network in the one or more networks to which the primary ECU is connected as a secondary ECU set; and identifying an ECU included in both of the secondary ECU set identified for the first vehicle and the secondary ECU set identified for the second vehicle and satisfying a predetermined condition as an anomaly-relevant ECU.
Systems and methods for regulating vehicle access
A request to access a vehicle is received from an electronic device of a user. The vehicle can be disposed at a designated geographic location. Next, geographic information of the user is received from the electronic device. The geographic information is determined with the aid of the electronic device of the user. The user is then provided access to the vehicle if, based on the received geographic information, a geographic location of the user is within a given distance from the designated geographic location of the vehicle.
DETECTING ABNORMAL CAN BUS WAKE-UP PATTERN
Techniques for using a detector coupled to a controller area network (CAN) bus of a vehicle system to identify and generate alerts in response to wake-up attacks on the vehicle system. Techniques include an electronic control unit (ECU) sending a wake-up message across the CAN bus that is detected by the detector. The detector includes memory and a processor to identify the timestamp of the wake-up message when the vehicle ignition is off. The detector determines a total operational time for the ECU over an observation time period and generates a notification of a wake-up anomaly when the total operational time over the observation time period exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Vehicle control apparatus, vehicle control method, recording medium with program for control recorded, and vehicle control system
A vehicle control apparatus includes a vehicle communication control unit performing communication with a mobile terminal, a distance measuring unit measuring a vehicle-terminal distance, a distance measurement control unit executing distance measurement repeat processing causing the distance measuring unit to repeatedly measure the vehicle-terminal distance when communication between the mobile terminal and the vehicle communication control unit is established, and a distance measurement continuation determining unit, if a predetermined condition based on the vehicle-terminal distance is satisfied while the distance measurement repeat processing is being executed, finishing execution of the distance measurement repeat processing or increasing intervals of measurements of the vehicle-terminal distance in the distance measurement repeat processing.
Key information sharing system, delivery device and user terminal
A server that shares key information to a portable terminal includes processing circuitry configured to deliver the key information to the portable terminal. The key information is associated with an object equipped with a control device, and the control device performs a predetermined control to the object when the control device receives the key information from an external terminal. The key information includes restriction information, where the restriction information sets a restriction content for the predetermined control.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR ENABLING CONTACTLESS COMMAND OF A VEHICLE
According to one aspect, a method includes determining when a vehicle has arrived at a destination and performing a first authentication process when it is determined that the vehicle has arrived at the destination. The first authentication process being arranged to authenticate a first party to enable the first party to interact with the vehicle. The method also includes determining when the first party has successfully completed the first authentication process, performing a second process when it is determined that the first party has successfully completed the first authentication process, determining whether the second process is successfully completed, and enabling the first party to interact with the vehicle when it is determined that the second process is successfully completed. Performing the second process includes determining when the first party is present within the sensing zone. The first authentication process and the second process are contactless with respect to the vehicle.
Method for stopping a vehicle
The vehicle (1) provides its identity to the portable electronic device (5) of a user not driving the vehicle, the portable electronic device displays visible features of the vehicle, the user selects the vehicle on the display to provide a signal to the wireless communication unit of the emergency stop system of the vehicle. In case of a terrorist attack, signals from a plurality of portable devices cause the vehicle to stop or slow down.
LOCKING BOOT FOR VEHICLE WHEEL
A vehicle locking boot includes a horizontal support arm and a first vertical support arm extending from the horizontal support arm. The first vertical support arm includes a front engagement protrusion. A receiving sleeve extends from the horizontal support arm at a base of the first vertical support arm. A horizontal extension portion is coupled to the horizontal support arm. A second vertical support arm extends from the horizontal extension portion. The second vertical support arm includes a rear engagement protrusion extending therefrom. The front engagement protrusion faces the rear engagement protrusion. A keypad is disposed on the first engagement portion to lock and unlock the horizontal extension portion. A lug nut blocking plate is coupled to the first vertical support arm. A global positioning system (GPS) housing is positioned at an upper portion of the first vertical support arm.
