INTERACTIVE SKIN FOR WEARABLE
A wearable may be provided with or configured to provide interactive skin. The interactive skin may be configured for accepting touch input from a user. The interactive skin may include one or more flexible layers and may include or be mounted under a transparent display cover layer such as a layer of clear glass or plastic. Interactive skin may include a touch-sensitive layer that allows a user to provide touch input to the wearable. Display pixels on interactive skin may be used to display visual information to the user. The interactive skin may be configured for detecting a condition of at least one wearable and generating an output function in response to the detected condition.
Safety mechanism for vehicle switch panels
A vehicle safety system and method, having an attachment mechanism, a hinge, either a bend or a plurality of spacers, and a cover. The system comprises a hook and loop section which connects to a vehicle door as well as a hook and loop section which connects to the attachment mechanism.

Ice and snow retention system for vehicles
A system for minimizing movement of ice or snow along a surface of a vehicle. The system can include a plurality of stops configured to be individually mounted to the surface in a spaced apart manner, the surface comprising at least one of a roof, a trunk, or a hood of the vehicle. Each stop may include a base for mounting to the vehicle and a fin extending upwardly from the base, the fin having a substantially upright edge to at least partially define an abutment plane configured to face toward a center of the surface and limit motion of ice or snow remaining on the surface.
SYSTEM FOR ASSISTING WITH VEHICLE TRAFFIC STOPS
A system for assisting with vehicle traffic stops wherein a first vehicle stops a second vehicle is provided. The system includes a control system structured to be operative from within the first vehicle and an arm assembly structured to be coupled to the first vehicle. The arm assembly includes a telescoping arm member, a drive system, and a remote assembly coupled to a distal end of the arm member. The remote assembly includes a number of electronic devices for (i) collecting information at or from a location adjacent the remote assembly and providing the information to the control system and (ii) enabling two-way communication between the first vehicle and the location, wherein the arm member is structured to be selectively elongated and retracted by the drive system under control of the control system.

Sliding package tray cargo cover
A cargo area for a vehicle includes a load floor, a package tray, and a pair of cargo area side walls each comprising a package tray translating element including a vehicle-forward facing guide surface for translating the package tray between at least one deployed position at a spaced distance above the load floor and a stowed position on the load floor. Vehicle-forward upper and lower indents are disposed at spaced intervals along the vehicle-forward facing guide surface. A cooperating package tray retaining element includes vehicle-rearward upper and lower indents disposed on the cargo area side walls. A vehicle-forward edge of the package tray includes a follower element adapted for translating the package tray between the at least one deployed position and the stowed position. A vehicle-rearward edge of the package tray includes a retractable retaining element adapted to releasably and selectively engage the vehicle-rearward upper and lower indents.
Kinematic asset management
A system for managing kinematic assets is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system comprises an electronic identification device associated with an asset. The system further comprises a container comprising a reader disposed within the container for receiving a unique identification of the identification device. The container further comprises a reader node for maintaining an inventory record comprising the asset and for generating a report when the asset is not detected by said reader. The report further comprises a location of the container when said report is generated. The system further comprises a kinematic asset management platform comprising an asset registry for storing data conveyed by the report and a reports engine for generating a second report conveying the location of said container when the report is generated.

IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, MOVABLE APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing system, which can prevent a sense of resolution when an image obtained by capturing surroundings of a movable apparatus is displayed from deteriorating, includes a first optical system that forms a first optical image having a low-resolution area corresponding to an angle of view less than a first angle of view and a high-resolution area corresponding to an angle of view greater than or equal to the first angle of view, a first imaging unit that captures the first optical image formed by the first optical system to generate first image data, and an image processing unit that deforms the first image data to generate first deformed image data.
