Windshield heating system
A windshield heating system includes a vehicle that has a windshield. A heat lamp unit is provided and the heat lamp unit is selectively coupled to a support and the heat lamp unit is pointed toward the windshield of the vehicle. The heat lamp unit selectively emits electromagnetic radiation to melt frozen precipitation from the windshield. A remote control is provided and the remote control may be manipulated to turn the heat lamp unit on and off.

METHOD AND SENSOR ARRAY FOR TOUCH-FREE WIDTH MONITORING IN VEHICLE TREATMENT INSTALLATIONS
A vehicle treatment system includes at least one treatment device that is movable relative to a vehicle to be treated. The vehicle treatment system also includes a collision detection device for width monitoring of a maximum treatment area of the vehicle treatment system, which for monitoring a lateral boundary of the maximum treatment area has at least one first optical sensor and a control unit for evaluating output values of the first optical sensor. The detection area of the first optical sensor is aligned along a lateral boundary of the maximum treatment area of the vehicle treatment system and the treatment device in the direction of travel leading ahead by a specified distance. The control unit is set such that the control unit detects an imminent collision if a specified number of consecutive cycles is scanned with a covered event.
Systems and Methods for Cleaning and Maintenance of Tanks
A manipulator boom assembly for releasable attachment to a manway of a tank. The manipulator boom assembly includes an elongated and curved boom defining an arcuate shape along a length of the boom, a base adapted to be releasably mounted to the manway of the tank, and a drive coupled to the boom, where the boom is movable by the drive relative to the base and the manway between a retracted position and an extended position within the tank.
System and method for cleaning and sanitizing the interior of a freight container
An automated wash rig is disclosed for cleaning the interior of a freight container. The wash rig may be transported atop a mobile platform or carriage and inserted into the interior of the freight container. During the cleaning process, the wash rig may travel along the length of the floor of the freight container. Washers (e.g., spray nozzles) on the wash rig may be used to direct cleaning fluid at the surfaces of the interior of the freight container, while dryers (e.g., air knives) on the wash rig may be used to dry off those surfaces. As the wash rig traverses the entire length of the freight container, the entire interior of the freight container is washed and dried. The wash rig may also have ultraviolet (UV) lamps which can provide UV light to sanitize the interior of the freight container during this process.
Vehicle cleaning system and method
A vehicle cleaning system includes a vehicle having a substantially flat cabin floor from which a plurality of seats of the vehicle extend, and a robotic cleaning device. The robotic cleaning device includes wheels configured to propel the cleaning device along the cabin floor and selectively clean the cabin floor.
Chamois drying device
An improved chamois drying device includes a malleable chamois body having a pocket that is interposed between a front surface, a rear surface, a pair of opposing side edges, a bottom edge and a top edge. An absorbent sponge is positioned within the pocket of the chamois body and functions to remove water accumulated by the chamois body. The chamois body is constructed from one or more pieces of water repellant chamois and includes an opening that is in communication with the pocket for receiving and positioning the absorbent sponge. One or more connectors are positioned along either side of the opening to secure the opening into an open or a closed position.
CTV Clutch Cleaning Device
A CTV clutch cleaning device is provided. The device is comprised of a body with a second end comprised of an angled cleaning head that receives at least one cleaning pad in a fixedly or removably attached fashion. In one embodiment, the cleaning head is comprised of a pad on each side to allow a user to easily clean the inside of a clutch and/or clutch sheaves within a clutch.
APPARATUS FOR REMOVING DEBRIS AND PARTICULATE MATTER FROM AUTOMOTIVE BODIES
A vacuum attachment attached to a distal end of a vacuum hose of a vacuum cleaning apparatus in a manufacturing environment includes a deck that extends outward from a central opening. The deck includes a top surface, a bottom surface, and a neck extending from the top surface about the central opening, the distal end of the vacuum hose being attached to the neck. The bottom surface engages with a work piece from which debris and particulate matter is to be removed that features a plurality of spacing elements extending from the bottom surface of the deck and a stopper disposed in the central opening and neck of the deck. The stopper include a base portion received in the central opening of the deck, and an opening through which debris and particulate matter is capable of being received into the vacuum hose.
