11049079 · 2021-06-29 ·

The present invention is directed to a system and method for scheduling service for autonomous vehicles based on criticality of the service request. The system is configured for receiving a plurality of service requests from a plurality of autonomous vehicles, wherein each of the plurality of service requests include diagnostic codes and current location. The system can analyze the diagnostic codes of each of the plurality of service requests to identify at least one service for each of the plurality of the autonomous vehicles, wherein criticality for each of the plurality of service requests based on the at least one service. The criticality for each of the plurality service requests can then be accessed on a predetermined scale. Thereafter, the plurality of service requests are ordered in an order ranging from lowest criticality to highest criticality on the predetermined scale. Also the system can determine distances between current location of each of the plurality of the autonomous vehicle from locations of a plurality of maintenance facility and a plurality of parking lots, the plurality of maintenance facility are identified based on the at least one service. The system can receive a work schedule of the plurality of maintenance facility and instruct each of the plurality of the autonomous vehicles to move to a maintenance facility or a parking lot based on the order of the service requests and work schedule.

VEHICLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND VEHICLE MANAGEMENT METHOD

A vehicle management system includes a vehicle cabin interior information acquisition unit, acquiring vehicle cabin interior information indicating a situation in a vehicle cabin of a vehicle, a dirt factor element recognition unit recognizing a dirt factor element related to dirt in the vehicle cabin based on the vehicle cabin interior information acquired by the vehicle cabin interior information acquisition unit, and a vehicle cleaning handling unit transmitting vehicle cleaning information about cleaning of the vehicle to a user terminal or a maintenance management server when the dirt factor element recognition unit recognizes the dirt factor element, the user terminal being used by a user of the vehicle, the maintenance management server managing maintenance of the vehicle.

VEHICLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND VEHICLE MANAGEMENT METHOD

A vehicle management system includes a vehicle use situation recognition unit recognizing that a user of a vehicle visits a predetermined area or a predetermined facility by the vehicle based on a position of the vehicle recognized by a vehicle position recognition unit and a vehicle cleaning handling unit transmitting vehicle cleaning information about cleaning of the vehicle to at least either one of a user terminal and a maintenance management server in a case where the vehicle use situation recognition unit recognizes that the user visits the predetermined area or the predetermined facility by the vehicle, the user terminal being used by the user, the maintenance management server managing maintenance of the vehicle.

ONBOARD WASH SYSTEM
20210146888 · 2021-05-20 ·

An onboard washing system provides the ability to wash specific areas at the rear of a concrete truck, without requiring an operator to climb a ladder or climb on the truck. Certain specified areas which are traditionally difficult to wash, including the inside of the charge hopper, the interior portions of the discharge chute, and rear portions of the mixing drum structure, can now be washed in an automated and efficient manner. The truck-mounted washing system has components which are specifically positioned to cause washing fluid (water) to be sprayed or directed toward predetermined areas in an efficient and effective manner. The system also includes hand-held washing wands or washing mechanisms, which allow an operator to easily reach additional zones or additional areas at the rear of the truck, which are lower. Most significantly, the truck-mounted wash systems and the hand-held nozzle systems (wand) are all operable while an operator remains on the ground.

CARWASH QUEUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE CARWASH QUEUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
20210150499 · 2021-05-20 ·

A method of operating a carwash includes driving a vehicle to a point of sale station of the carwash, purchasing a carwash transaction, and taking a first picture of a license plate number of the vehicle after the completion of the purchase of the carwash transaction at the point of sale station. The license plate number is associated with the carwash transaction as a carwash ticket. The vehicle is then sent to a carwash queue disposed downstream of the point of sale station. The carwash ticket information is sent to a carwash tunnel. A second picture of the license plate number of the vehicle is taken right as it approaches the carwash tunnel. The license plate number is associated with the carwash ticket and the vehicle is washed according to a wash dictated by the carwash ticket.

Vehicle washing installation and method for the operation thereof

A vehicle washing installation includes at least one side washing brush which is mounted on a crossbar of the vehicle washing installation by a suspension to be rotatable about first and second pivot axes. The suspension has a first actuator for pivoting the side washing brush about the first pivot axis. The problem of providing a vehicle washing installation which, with little constructional outlay, permits a good washing result even in the case of inclined side surfaces and rear surfaces of the vehicle and the inclined transitions between said surfaces is addressed in that the suspension has a second actuator for pivoting the side washing brush about the second pivot axis, and by a method with the steps of: detecting and/or determining the inclination of a first vehicle surface running transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction; pivoting the side washing brush from a basic position about the second pivot axis in a manner corresponding to the inclination of the first vehicle surface; and moving the side washing brush along the first vehicle surface.
