Elongated air jet device and method
A fan assembly, and associated methods are shown that may include tapering configurations in a nozzle assembly. Configurations are shown that are optimized for thrust. Examples of assemblies and methods are shown that include sound attenuating materials and jagged edges to reduce noise. Configurations are shown that provide a substantially constant or increasing air velocity. Configurations are also shown that provide a static pressure of 120 percent or less of a given dynamic pressure.
METHOD FOR MONITORING A VEHICLE AND VEHICLE LOCATION MONITORING SYSTEM FOR AN AUTOMATED CARWASH
A method operates a carwash having a carwash tunnel. A vehicle is conveyed into the carwash via a conveyor. At least a position, a length and/or a height of the vehicle traversing the carwash is captured. A progression of the vehicle going from a first checkpoint to a downstream second check point is monitored. The conveyor is stopped if the vehicle does not make it to the downstream second checkpoint in an allotted time period.
Method for a data processing system for maintaining an operating state of a first autonomous vehicle and method for a data processing system for managing a plurality of autonomous vehicles
A method for a data processing installation for obtaining an operating state of a first autonomous vehicle. The method includes determining a current state of the first autonomous vehicle from a received measurement value of a sensor of a second vehicle. When the current state of the first autonomous vehicle deviates from a setpoint state, the method includes sending a first message to the first autonomous vehicle, wherein the first message contains a command to travel autonomously to a service location. Alternatively, the method includes sending a second message to a person responsible for the first autonomous vehicle, wherein the second message includes information about the deviation of the current state of the first autonomous vehicle from the setpoint state. Alternatively, the method includes sending a third message to service personnel, wherein the third message contains an instruction for the service personnel to set the vehicle to the setpoint state.
DRYING APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE IN AN AUTOMATED VEHICLE CLEANING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to an improved drying apparatus, system and method for use in an automated vehicle cleaning system. Specifically, an improved drying apparatus, system and method is provided, which includes a series of components resulting in combined sound reducing features and incorporating sound absorbing acoustic materials creating a quiet technology system. The present disclosure provides a drying apparatus with an overall lower decibel level, without sacrificing air flow and efficiency in the drying of a vehicle.
Treatment installation and method for treating workpieces
In order to provide a treatment installation for treating workpieces that is of simple construction and enables optimised workpiece treatment, it is proposed that the treatment installation should include a treatment chamber and a conveying device, by means of which the workpieces are suppliable to the treatment chamber, are removable from the treatment chamber, and/or are conveyable through the treatment chamber in a conveying direction.
Liquid introduction systems for conveyor system
In an aspect, a conveyor system for moving a wheeled structure through a service line is provided. The conveyor system comprises at least one endless belt mounted longitudinally through the service line. The belt has an upper transport portion for moving the vehicle through the service line, and a lower return portion with a support deck below the upper transport portion to support the belt. A liquid introduction system is provided for helping to remove dirt from the belt and/or to remove dirt from between the belt and the support deck.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR EXAHUST RECIRCULATION OF VEHICLE WASH VACUUMS
Disclosed are exhaust heat recirculation systems for vehicle wash vacuums, methods for making/using such vacuum exhaust heat recirculation systems, and vehicle wash facilities with a central vacuum system having exhaust recirculation capabilities. A vehicle wash facility includes multiple vehicle stalls, and a vacuum system for removing debris from vehicles at the vehicle stalls. The vacuum system includes vacuum hoses mounted at the vehicle stalls, a central power unit that generates vacuum pressure for operating the hoses, and feeders for connecting the hoses to an inlet manifold of the central power unit. An exhaust heat recirculation system is operatively connected to and evacuates exhaust gases from the central power unit. The vacuum system may include a continuous-belt heater unit that receives the evacuated exhaust gases and repurposes the gas for drying towels, mitter cloth strips, brushes, etc.
Thermal Shield System
A thermal shield system with wireless control capabilities including a multi-layer shield, a housing containing a power source and processor, and a programmable control mechanism, wherein the control mechanism is in communication with the processor to facilitate direct or remote manual programming of time and temperature of the shield system. The multi-layer shield includes a perimeter having a first layer comprised of reflective material, a second layer comprised of a plurality of conductive pads arranged in a plurality of rows within a structural support sheet, a third layer comprised of thermal material, an electrical wire running through and connecting said conductive pads of the second layer, and a surround spanning the perimeter of the shield. The surround of the shield has flexibility to allow folding or rolling for compact storage of said shield and having rigidity to provide structural integrity of said shield. The electrical wire connects each of the plurality of conductive pads in a series to generate consistent and uniform heat while minimizing depletion of the power source.
Internal washing device for containers
The invention relates to an internal washing device for containers including a base with a structure including telescopically extendable sections and in which at least one cleaning element is housed. The base includes a drive shaft, each section includes at least one toothed longitudinal segment configured to engage with at least one pinion fastened to the drive shaft. The sections include a push pawl. The initial section incorporates a support element on the forward end, and the additional sections incorporate a pull pawl and a recess for the fastening of the corresponding push pawl, such that the drive shaft has the ability to operate all the sections without needing to move.
Reverse Flow Dryer Silencer Apparatus
Car wash dryer apparatuses, namely car wash dryer inlet have a reverse flow in that the apparatuses allows a car wash dryer to pull air from the same side of the dryer apparatus to which it expels air. Such a configuration reduces sound levels of the car wash dryer without adding significant static drag. Moreover, such a configuration reduces moisture intake in wet environments, which protects internal components of the dryer apparatus.
