INTEGRATED GROUND PAD
20200231131 · 2020-07-23 · ·

A stabilizer for a vehicle includes an actuator assembly configured to be coupled to a chassis of the vehicle and a ground pad coupled to the actuator assembly. The actuator assembly is selectively repositionable between an extended position and a retracted position to reconfigure the stabilizer between a lifting configuration and a storage configuration. The ground pad has a bottom surface configured to engage a support surface below the chassis. When the stabilizer is in the lifting configuration, the bottom surface of the ground pad engages the support surface. When the stabilizer is in the storage configuration, the ground pad is not in contact with the support surface.

Anti-tip device for ATV
10597005 · 2020-03-24 ·

An anti-tip device for an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) having a T-shaped first support member formed by a first section and a second section with opposing left and right ends. A trailing end of the first section mounts between the ends of the second section. A leading end of the first section removably connects to the rear end of the ATV. A ground contact member is located on the T-shaped first support member and includes a bottom that is spaced away from the ground surface when front and rear wheels of the ATV are in contact with the ground surface. The ground contact member contacts the ground surface when the front wheel rotates about the rear wheel and away from the ground surface in order to prevent rotation that would cause the front wheel of the ATV to tip backwards over the rear wheel.

Systems for stabilizing a vehicle and method for stabilizing a vehicle

The invention relates to methods and systems for stabilisation of a vehicle with a chassis including a rear wheel bogie, a pendulum shaft rotatable through rotary bearings around an axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, a tipping arrangement on which a crane is arranged, and a stabilisation arrangement having first and second hydraulic stabilisation actuators in the rear wheel bogie. The tipping arrangement includes a rotating disk and rotary bearings, such that the rotating disk and crane are rotatable around a vertical axis, and first and second hydraulic tipping actuators in connection with the rotating disk, that can be rotated around a horizontal axis. The first stabilisation actuator and first tipping actuator are in fluid-mediated connection, and the second stabilisation actuator and second tipping actuator are in fluid-mediated connection. The stabilisation actuators are controlled based on the pressure at the tipping actuators.

Mounting mechanism to enable hitching a tool with the frame of a utility vehicle

A mounting mechanism (100), to enable hitching a tool (101) with the frame of a utility vehicle, comprises front hooks (102), a locking mechanism (104), a lifting cradle assembly (106), and a frame attachment mechanism (108). The front hooks (102) and the locking mechanism is configured to detachably engage the front and the rear portion of the tool (101) respectively. The cradle assembly (106) is configured to be operatively engaged with the front hooks (102) and the locking mechanism (104). The frame attachment mechanism (108) is configured to be pivotally coupled to the lifting cradle assembly (106). The locking mechanism (104) is configured to be operated by lifting the cradle assembly (106) via pivotal motion between the cradle and the frame attachment mechanism (108) under force generated by the vehicle (1000) to hitch and lock the tool (101) with the frame of the vehicle (1000).

An automatic vehicle jack assembly includes a plurality of scissor jacks that is each mounted to a bottom side of a vehicle. Each of the scissor jacks is positioned adjacent to a respective one of a plurality of wheels on the vehicle for lifting the respective wheel upwardly from a support surface. Conversely, each of the scissor jacks is actuatable into a retracted position thereby facilitating the respective wheel to roll along the support surface. A control panel is positioned within a cab of the vehicle such that the control panel is accessible to a driver of the vehicle. The control panel is in communication with each of the scissor jacks thereby facilitating the control panel to independently or simultaneously actuate each of the scissor jacks between the extended position or the retracted position.
