System and method relates to a firewater monitor brake system, comprising a vertical locking disc collar adapted to be affixed externally or internally to a horizontal swivel of a firewater monitor system; a horizontal locking disc collar adapted to be affixed externally or internally to a vertical swivel of the firewater monitor system; a vertical brake mount adapted to be affixed to a horizontal swivel mounting pad of the firewater monitor system; a horizontal brake mount adapted to be affixed to a vertical swivel mounting pad of the firewater monitor system; a vertical brake system; wherein the vertical brake system is affixed to the vertical brake mount such that a portion of the vertical brake system is disposed around a portion of the vertical locking disc collar; a horizontal brake system, wherein the horizontal brake system is affixed to the horizontal brake mount such that a portion of the horizontal brake system is disposed around a portion of the horizontal locking disc collar; and a master cylinder adapted to be affixed to a tiller bar of the firewater monitor system, wherein the master cylinder is connected to and/or coupled to a lever system and wherein the master cylinder is connected to and or coupled to the vertical brake system and/or the horizontal brake system via an actuation system. Methods for making and using the system are also disclosed.

System and method relates to a firewater monitor brake system, comprising a vertical locking disc collar adapted to be affixed externally or internally to a horizontal swivel of a firewater monitor system; a horizontal locking disc collar adapted to be affixed externally or internally to a vertical swivel of the firewater monitor system; a vertical brake mount adapted to be affixed to a horizontal swivel mounting pad of the firewater monitor system; a horizontal brake mount adapted to be affixed to a vertical swivel mounting pad of the firewater monitor system; a vertical brake system; wherein the vertical brake system is affixed to the vertical brake mount such that a portion of the vertical brake system is disposed around a portion of the vertical locking disc collar; a horizontal brake system, wherein the horizontal brake system is affixed to the horizontal brake mount such that a portion of the horizontal brake system is disposed around a portion of the horizontal locking disc collar; and a master cylinder adapted to be affixed to a tiller bar of the firewater monitor system, wherein the master cylinder is connected to and/or coupled to a lever system and wherein the master cylinder is connected to and or coupled to the vertical brake system and/or the horizontal brake system via an actuation system. Methods for making and using the system are also disclosed.
Drum-type transmission device
A parking lock mechanism of the drum-type transmission device comprises a parking gear that is provided on the transmission shaft, a parking operation arm which is selectively operated between a lock position engaging with the parking gear and an unlock position away from the parking gear, a parking release spring for urging the operation arm toward the unlock position, and a parking pushing member which is positioned at a lock position by pushing the operation arm according to the rotation of the drum member from the shift position or the neutral position to the parking position. One end of the transmission operation shaft is located near the operation arm. At one end of the shift operation shaft, there is provided an arm restraining portion that can urge the operation arm toward the unlock position when the drum member is moved from the parking position to the shift position or the neutral position.
Parking brake for an electric vehicle with multi-speed gearbox
A commercial vehicle with at least one driven axle, at least one service brake, at least one propulsion engine, and wheels characterized in that the parking brake function of the vehicle is solved by a bistable locking means acting on both wheels. At least one multi-speed gearbox is provided to concurrently activate a first gear stage and a second gear stage having different ratios.
Vehicle parking lock mechanism
A vehicle parking lock mechanism includes a parking gear, a parking pawl, a lock member, and a support member. The parking pawl is meshed with the parking gear to hinder rotation of the parking gear. The lock member moves the parking pawl closer to the parking gear via a cam mechanism as the lock member is moved toward the locked position, to establish a parking locked state in which rotation of the parking gear is hindered by the parking pawl. The support member is provided with a guide portion guiding movement between a locked position and an unlocked position. The cam mechanism moves the parking pawl closer to the parking gear to be meshed therewith. A stopper is disposed on the lock member, to be engaged with the support member by taking a projecting posture in which the stopper projects toward the support member in the parking locked state.
Lawn Care Vehicle Brake System with Intuitive Control
A riding lawn care vehicle (10) may include a frame (60), a steering assembly (30), a brake assembly (110), and a mechanical brake linkage assembly (120). At least a first drive wheel (32) and a second drive wheel (32) of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may be attachable to the frame (60). The steering assembly (30) may include a first steering lever (34) and a second steering lever (34), where the first and second steering levers (34) are operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels (32) respectively to facilitate turning of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) based on drive speed control of the first and second drive wheels (32) responsive to positioning of the first and second steering levers (34) along a first direction when the first and second steering levers are in an operating position. The brake assembly may be operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels (32) to enable brakes to be selectively applied to the first and second drive wheels (32). The mechanical brake linkage assembly (120) may be configured to activate the brake assembly (110) relative to the first and second drive wheels (32) in response to movement of the first and second steering levers (34)
Multi-speed gearbox with a gear-clutch assembly
An electric drive axle of a vehicle includes an electric motor having an output shaft. A compound idler assembly is connected to the electric motor. The compound idler assembly includes at least one gear-clutch assembly in driving engagement with the output shaft of the electric motor. A differential is connected to the compound idler assembly, and in selective driving engagement with the compound idler assembly.
WHEELCHAIR WHEEL LOCK PLATE ASSEMBLY
A plate assembly for a wheelchair having a wheel lock system for a spoked wheel. The wheel lock assembly includes an actuator that moves a lock-pin between locking and unlocking positions with the wheel. The plate assembly has three generally flat plates attached together by a double ring of bolts with pliant nuts. The first plate is metal and releasably engages the lock-pin. The other two plates are made of pliant material, and mate from opposite sides of the spokes to form elongated radial channels. Each channel snugly receives one of the spokes along a substantial length of the channel.

PARKING LOCK SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A parking lock system for a motor vehicle has a housing, a drive shaft couplable to a wheel of the motor vehicle, a locking element for non-rotatably connecting the drive shaft to the housing, an actuating element for actuating the locking element, a first adjusting disc and a second adjusting disc, which are both arranged rotatably around a common axis of rotation. The system also has an adjusting device for a rotational adjustment of the first adjusting disc, a first actuator coupled to the actuating element and to the second adjusting disc. The adjusting device transmits an actuating force from the first adjusting disc, via the second adjusting disc, first actuator, and actuating element to the locking element. The parking lock system has at least one spring device, which has a first end supported at least indirectly with respect to the first adjusting disc, and a second end supported at least indirectly with respect to the second adjusting disc.
