A park-lock device having a gearwheel connected to a rotating member; a tilting lever with a locking tooth engagable with the gearwheel to prevent rotation thereof, the tilting lever is tiltable about a first axis of rotation between a disengagement and engagement position; and a spring that applies torque on the cam. The cam is mounted about a second axis of rotation parallel to the first axis of rotation and has a first lateral surface portion that cooperates with a first cam follower of the tilting lever. The tilting lever has a second cam follower and the cam has a second lateral surface portion that cooperates with the second cam follower. In a first rotational direction the cam causes the tilting lever to tilt from the disengagement to the engagement position. In a second direction the cam causes the tilting lever to tilt from the engagement to the disengagement position.

DRUM-TYPE TRANSMISSION DEVICE

A parking lock mechanism of the drum-type transmission device comprises a parking gear that is provided on the transmission shaft, a parking operation arm which is selectively operated between a lock position engaging with the parking gear and an unlock position away from the parking gear, a parking release spring for urging the operation arm toward the unlock position, and a parking pushing member which is positioned at a lock position by pushing the operation arm according to the rotation of the drum member from the shift position or the neutral position to the parking position. One end of the transmission operation shaft is located near the operation arm. At one end of the shift operation shaft, there is provided an arm restraining portion that can urge the operation arm toward the unlock position when the drum member is moved from the parking position to the shift position or the neutral position.

ELECTRICAL POWER UNIT AND MOTOR VEHICLE

An electric drive unit for driving at least two wheels of a motor vehicle, which has an exclusively electrically drivable wheel axle. The wheel axle is connected to at least one electric traction motor in order to transmit a drive torque and to a central brake in order to transmit a brake torque. A transmission gear having at least two gear stages and at least one intermediate gear shaft is arranged between the traction motor and the wheel axle and the central brake is integrated in an intermediate gear shaft of the transmission gear.

Parking lock device

A parking lock device includes a parking mechanism, a lock state switching member, a selector, a gradient detector, a switching controller, and an engine speed controller. The lock state switching member locks a parking gear when supply of hydraulic pressure is stopped. When hydraulic pressure is supplied, the lock state switching member releases the lock of the parking gear. The selector receives operation to select a shift range. The gradient detector detects a gradient of a road surface. When a parking range is selected, the switching controller stops supplying the hydraulic pressure to the lock state switching member. When another shift range is selected, the switching controller supplies the hydraulic pressure to the lock state switching member. When the parking range is selected and the gradient of the road surface is equal to or larger than a predetermined value, the engine speed controller increases an engine speed.

Cam locking handle assembly for manual park release

A park release assembly including a package housing with a depth defining base and a cover and a cam component supported in a limited pivotal fashion within the housing. The cam component includes upper and lower portions, each further having an arcuate extending guide surface. A release cable extends in a first direction within the housing and engages the arcuate surface of the lower cam portion. An engagement cable extends in a second crosswise direction relative to the release cable and engages the arcuate surface of the upper cam portion. A pull handle is secured to an end of the engagement cable and, upon outwardly displacing the pull handle, causes concurrent rotation of the cam component in a counter biasing direction in order to linearly displace the release cable in an extending direction in order to actuate a remote lever to a vehicle Park release condition.

PARKING BRAKE AND OPERATING METHOD
