Differential braking of aircraft landing gear wheels

A method of braking left and right landing gear wheels on respective left and right sides of an aircraft. A desired left braking parameter (L) is received for the left wheel and a desired right braking parameter (R) is received for the right wheel. The left wheel is braked with a reduced left braking parameter (L′) which is less than the desired left braking parameter (L), and the right wheel is braked with a reduced right braking parameter (R′) which is less than the desired right braking parameter (R). A difference between the braking parameters is maintained so that L′−R′=L−R.

COLLISION AVOIDANCE DEVICE

A collision avoidance device includes, for example, a collision avoidance executor that can execute avoidance braking for avoiding collision with an object to be avoided; a determiner that determines whether a brake pedal is operated by a driver; and a collision avoidance controller that inhibits execution of the avoidance braking from ending and controls braking to apply a brake with a larger one of a required braking force through the operation of the brake pedal and a braking force by the avoidance braking, when the driver operates the brake pedal during the avoidance braking.

VEHICULAR BRAKE DEVICE

A vehicle braking device includes a first supply unit supplying fluid to main flow channels connected to wheel cylinders of a vehicle, a differential solenoid valve provided on the main flow channels and generating a differential pressure across the differential solenoid valve, a second supply unit supplying fluid to the wheel cylinders by drawing at least some fluid supplied from the first supply unit through branch flow channels branching off from the main flow channels upstream of the differential solenoid valve, and a setting unit setting a supply amount of fluid supplied from the first supply unit in accordance with a draw amount of fluid drawn by the second supply unit.

BRAKE CONTROL DEVICE

The present disclosure provides a brake control device applied to a vehicle including a hydraulic brake device that generates a hydraulic braking force by pressing a braking member with hydraulic pressure toward a member-to-be-braked that rotates integrally with a wheel; and an electric brake device that generates an electric braking force by pressing the braking member by driving a motor toward the member-to-be-braked. A controller that controls the electric brake device is provided. The controller executes, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, a positional control for driving a motor and moving a propeller shaft that transmits the driving force of the motor to the braking member toward the member-to-be-braked as compared to when the predetermined condition is not satisfied.

Braking device for vehicle

A braking device includes: a reservoir; a master cylinder in which when the amount of operation performed on a brake pedal reaches or exceeds a predetermined amount, a port communicating between a pressure chamber and the reservoir is cut off and hydraulic pressure corresponding to the brake pedal operation amount is generated; a hydraulic pressure unit for adjusting the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure; and a control unit for controlling the hydraulic pressure unit. The control unit determines, based on a temperature-related value related to the temperature of a friction member pressed by the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure against a rotating member fixed to a wheel, whether the friction member is in a fade state. When the friction member is in a fade state, the control unit controls the hydraulic pressure unit to suction brake fluid from the reservoir through the port, and is fed to the wheel cylinder.

The objective of the present invention is to provide a vehicle speed control device which makes it easier to match an actual vehicle speed to a target vehicle speed, thereby providing an improved driving sensation and limiting the use of a main brake on downhill gradients. This vehicle speed control device for controlling the vehicle speed of a vehicle provided with a plurality of auxiliary brakes includes: a computing unit for computing a required deceleration torque on the basis of a running resistance of the vehicle; and a control unit for selecting an auxiliary brake to be operated, from among the plurality of auxiliary brakes, in accordance with the deceleration torque, and causing the selected auxiliary brake to operate.

BRAKE CONTROL APPARATUS OF VEHICLE

Braking torque is automatically applied based on requested deceleration and requested distance from a driving assistance device. Standard deceleration decreases in an “upwardly curved” form and then decreases in a “downwardly curved” form over time in a standard deceleration profile, and a standard speed profile corresponds to the standard deceleration profile. In the present calculation period, target deceleration and target speed profiles are set by adjusting the standard deceleration/standard speed profiles to satisfy the relationship between deceleration and vehicle body speed. The estimated distance from the reference speed to the vehicle stop is calculated based on the target speed profile. In a condition that the estimated distance is equal to/less than the requested distance is denied, braking torque is adjusted based on requested deceleration. After first satisfying the condition that the estimated distance is equal to/less than the requested distance, braking torque is adjusted according to the target deceleration profile.
