Electronic parking brake system and control method thereof
Disclosed is an electronic parking brake system including: an electronic parking brake configured to generate a braking force in a vehicle by a motor; and a controller configured to operate or release the electronic parking brake, wherein the controller is configured to collect, according to detection of a driver's intention to park, at least one of vehicle information, surrounding environment information, or parking mode setting information of the vehicle; set a target braking force for parking the vehicle based on the at least one of the vehicle information, the surrounding environment information, or the parking mode setting information, and control a parking operation of the vehicle to generate the target braking force by operating the electronic parking brake.
Vehicle control device
To effectively improve the accuracy of abnormality determination of a driver, provided is a vehicle control device comprising a stop hold release control unit configured to execute a stop hold control for holding by activating a brake apparatus, and execute a release control for releasing a stop hold by the brake apparatus when a predetermined release condition is satisfied, an operation input acquiring unit for acquire an operation input of a driver, a driver abnormality determining unit for determining whether the driver is in an abnormal state, and a determination correction unit configured to execute a determination correction for making the driver abnormality determination unit easily determine that the driver is in the abnormal state, when the release control is executed by the stop hold release control unit and the operation input acquisition unit does not acquire the operation input.
AXLE INTEGRATED IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM
Systems and methods are disclosed for an off-highway (OH) machine or vehicle immobilization system, that when activated, prevents the OH machine from being moved, as an anti-theft device. The vehicle immobilization system relies on a Spring Applied Hydraulic Release (SAHR) brake that is integrated into an axle of the OH machine. Without oil pressure, the SAHR brake is engaged, and wheels of the OH machine or vehicle cannot rotate. The SAHR brake cannot be disengaged except by applying pressure in a hydraulic line of the SAHR brake. The hydraulic line passes through an electric immobilizer valve that is integrated inside the axle. If the valve is closed (e.g., no oil flow through the valve), the SAHR cannot be disengaged, and the vehicle cannot move. When the valve is opened, oil flows through the valve and the SAHR is disengaged, allowing movement.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OPERATING BRAKES OF VEHICLE
A method for operating brakes of a vehicle includes: transmitting vehicle location information acquired from a location detection device mounted on the vehicle to a remote server, receiving first remote data on whether the vehicle is located within a goods delivery zone that is calculated based on the location information from the remote server, switching a vehicle operation mode to a brake automatic operation mode if a value of the first remote data is determined to indicate that the vehicle is located within the goods delivery zone; determining whether a predetermined first condition is satisfied in the automatic operation mode; and transmitting an instruction to a vehicle integration controller mounted on the vehicle to operate the brakes of the vehicle in a first manner if the first condition is determined to be satisfied. A device for operating brakes of the vehicle may perform the method.
