Method and filling machine for filling a foodstuff
The present disclosure refers to a filling machine and to a method for filling a foodstuff which comprises at least two components to be mixed, particularly for sausage production. The foodstuff may be filled into a filling hopper of the filling machine and thoroughly mixed with a mixing cam. The mixing cam may be driven via its own drive at different speeds according to a specific speed profile while the foodstuff is conveyed out of the lower portion of the filling hopper via a conveying mechanism and is filled via a filling unit.
System for transferring sausage-shaped products and method therefore
The present invention relates to a system for transferring sausage-shaped products, containing a flowable filling material in a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing from a discharge device of a processing machine for processing the sausage-shaped products to a handling device for the sausage-shaped products. The system comprises a belt conveyor device for subsequently receiving sausage-shaped products discharged from the discharge device in a discharge direction and for conveying the sausage-shaped products in a feeding direction to a releasing position in which the sausage-shaped products can be removed from the belt conveyor device, a drive assembly for driving said belt conveyor device in the feeding direction being at least substantially parallel to the discharge direction of the discharge device, a guiding assembly for guiding the sausage-shaped products when conveyed by the belt conveyor device in the feeding direction and at least one shaping box for subsequently receiving a sausage-shaped product released from the belt conveyor device in the releasing position, wherein the at least one shaping box is provided at least substantially underneath the belt conveyor device in a receiving position for receiving the sausage-shaped product released in a release direction substantially perpendicular to the feeding direction.
Device and method for constricting and/or severing a sausage strand
The disclosure relates to a device for constricting and/or separating a sausage strand moving in direction of transport with two separating devices which in relation to sausage strand are disposed opposite one another, each comprising: a disk mounted to be rotatable about a first axis, a disk arranged thereabove mounted to be rotatable about a second axis with an axis spacing from first axis, at least two connecting elements, at least one of which comprises a displacement element, where a first end of respective connecting element is mounted to be rotatable in first disk at a respective distance r from first axis and a second end in second disk is mounted to be rotatable at same distance from second axis, where connecting elements are guided such that at least one displacement element, during its rotation about first axis, is always aligned at a predetermined angle relative to direction of transport.
Method to process coextruded meat products using high velocity air in combination with handling method and liquid application
A system and method for processing a coextruded meat product including a casing enclosing a meat batter after brining in which a heated, high velocity air stream is applied to the coextruded meat product thereby mechanically removing moisture from a surface of the casing and cooking the coextruded meat product. This system and method can further improve the ability for a liquid coating to be added to the coextruded meat product in a non-drenching manner because of the superior surface preparation of the casing by the jets.
Four clip clipping machine
A clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products is provided, comprising gathering means for forming a plait-like portion from tubular packaging casing filled with filling material and a closing unit for applying at least four closure means to the plait-like portion. Moreover, a guide unit is provided for guiding closure means to a closing unit of a clipping machine, being configured to supply at least two closure means to a first closing device of the closing unit and at least two further closure means to a second closing device of the closing unit. There is also provided a method for producing sausage-shaped products, comprising filling a portion of tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing with filling material, forming a plait-like portion therefrom and applying at least two closure means to a first section of the plait-like portion while substantially simultaneously applying two closure means to a second section of the plait-like portion.
COMPACT ORIENTING AND TRANSFERRING DEVICE FOR UNITARY ELONGATED FOOD PRODUCTS AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
Compact orienting and transferring device for unitary elongated food products (1) comprising a circular conveyor (10) surrounded by a limitative wall (11) with an extraction opening (12); an extractor device including an extraction path (31, 32, 33) defined on a first conveyor (21) and with an intake end connected to the extraction opening (12), and a circular wheel (40) including a circular groove (50) on the wheel periphery, the first conveyor (21) being a conveyor belt wider than the circular groove entrance (53), a circular portion of the first conveyor (21) being directly supported on the wheel periphery covering the circular groove entrance (53) on a portion of that wheel periphery, defining a circular portion (32) of the extraction path (31, 32, 33) within the circular groove (50).
Removal device for rod-like elements
The present invention relates to a device for removing a rod-like element, like a smoking rod, from a loading zone of a hanging line, wherein the rod-like element is arranged in a loading position of said loading zone, in which the rod-like element can successively be loaded with sausage-shaped products, like sausages, each of which contain a flowable filling material in a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing provided with a suspension element, like a suspension loop, through which the sausage-shaped products can be suspended on the rod-like element in the loading position. The device comprises discharge means for discharging the loaded rod-like element out of the loading zone of the hanging line in a discharge direction and transfer means being reversibly movable in a transfer direction between an engagement position in which the transfer means engage the rod-like element to be removed from the loading position, and a retracted position in which the loaded rod-like element is transferred to said discharge means. The device further comprises a drive assembly having a single drive device and transmission means for intermittently driving the discharge means in a discharge direction, and for reversibly driving the transfer means in the transfer direction between the engagement position and the retracted position.
