CABLE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM COMPRISING A STATION AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH CABLE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A station for a cable transportation system comprising a plurality of transporting units supported and driven outside the station by at least one cable, the station comprising an inlet and an outlet for the transporting units; a guiding device for guiding the transporting units uncoupled from the cable inside the station; an advancing auxiliary device for moving the transporting units along the guiding device; a control unit configured for controlling the advancing auxiliary device so that the advancing auxiliary device can switch, with no service interruption, from a first configuration, wherein the transporting units are individually arranged equidistant from each other and the boarding and landing occur inside the station without stopping the advancing movement, to a second configuration, wherein the transporting units are arranged in equidistant compact groups of at least two units and the boarding and landing occur inside the station by temporarily stopping the transporting units, and vice versa.

Rail and train system
A rail and train system has at least a rail pair on which a rail vehicle that is provided with at least one wagon is movable. In the wagon, at least one lifting device is accommodated with which containers can be transported through an opening in the floor of the wagon and which is movable transverse to the length direction of the wagon. The rail vehicle can be provided with a chassis that is formed by two chassis parts that are positioned at a distance behind each other in the travel direction.

Intermodal Transportation System
A system for improved intermodal freight transportation is described herein. Improved carriages and support trusses are provided that beneficially move the load-bearing structure to interconnected support trusses forming a top-end spine of the train with freight containers equipped with wheels hanging underneath. Upon entering a terminal, the floor adjacent to the rails may be configured to gradually rise until the container's wheels are supporting the container's weight. When properly aligned with a container exchange station, the container's connections to the train may be configured to release the container from the train, and the container's wheels may be configured to pivot, allowing the container to be rolled to the side of the train and replaced by another. This may allow the container to be replaced without having to lift the container or disconnect any of the rolling stock components.
RAIL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A rail system includes a main track, a spur track connected to the main track by a switch changeable between a closed state and an open state, and a station spaced from the main track and accessible by the spur track. The rail system further includes a train with a passenger car and an EMDI releasably coupleable behind the passenger car. A method of operating the rail system includes decoupling the EMDI from the passenger car when the train is moving at a first speed toward the switch in the closed state. The EMDI is decelerated to a second speed less than the first speed. After the train has moved past the switch and the switch has been changed to the open state, the EMDI is diverted from the main track to the spur track via the switch in the open state and decelerated to a stop at the station.

Connected transportation network system
Disclosed is an interconnected transportation network system, wherein same is related to the field of transportation facilities and control, and comprises a main transportation system, a transfer system and an entry/exit system. The main transportation system is formed of a closed annular rail vehicle, and the annular train moves continuously on a T-shaped track to fulfil a passenger transportation task by means of multi-point drive. The transfer system (intercommunication) is of the same structure as that of the main transportation system, and the passengers transfer between main transportation lines by means of the transfer system. The entry/exit system (terminal) is formed of an annular buffer vehicle system and a stepping speed control system, and the passengers enter or exit the main transportation lines in a self-service manner by means of the entry/exit system.
