Systems and methods for improved operations of ski lifts
Systems and methods for improved operations of ski lifts increase skier safety at on-boarding and off-boarding locations by providing an always-on, always-alert system that “watches” these locations, identifies developing problem situations, and initiates mitigation actions. One or more video cameras feed live video to a video processing module. The video processing module feeds resulting sequences of images to an artificial intelligence (AI) engine. The AI engine makes an inference regarding existence of a potential problem situation based on the sequence of images. This inference is fed to an inference processing module, which determines if the inference processing module should send an alert or interact with the lift motor controller to slow or stop the lift.

System and Method of Transporting Objects
Described herein is a transport system and method of transporting objects including people between locations. The description also relates to urban and public transport systems for moving large numbers of people and freight or objects between locations. The description also relates to transport systems based on cable and rail elements and moving therebetween. Also described are junction mechanisms, switching and control systems.
Corner connection for support elements of a cableway cabin
A corner connection is provided between support elements of a cableway cabin. The corner connection has a support element (1), designed as an elongated strut having a hollow end (2), and an angled connecting element (3) having a connecting piece (4). The connecting piece (4) is insertable into the hollow end (2) of the support element (1) in a form-fitting manner. An inner shape of the hollow end (2) and an outer shape of the connecting piece (4) have an angular design. At least two oppositely situated surfaces of the hollow end (2) and the connecting piece (4) are provided in a form-fitting manner in such a way that a gap (14, 14′) remains between the inner surface (10, 10′) of the hollow end (2) and the outer surface (9, 9′) of the connecting piece (4), wherein an adhesive material is provided in the gap (14, 14′).
Transport vehicle
An overhead transport vehicle includes a fall prevention mechanism including a first rotary member, a fall prevention member, and a second rotary member. The first rotary member includes a base end portion supported so as to be rotatable about a first rotation shaft extending along direction Y. The fall prevention member is provided in a tip end portion of the first rotary member and is movable to a space below a cassette. The second rotary member includes a base end portion supported so as to be rotatable about a second rotation shaft extending along direction Z, and a tip end portion to which the first rotary member is attached.

Cable transportation system
A cable transportation system without a hauling cable and comprising: a plurality of transporting units; two supporting cables for supporting the transporting units in a suspended configuration; a plurality of trolleys, wherein each trolley supports a transporting unit in a suspended configuration and comprises rolls configured for resting and rolling on the supporting cables and at least one electric motor configured for moving the trolley along the supporting cables.
Cable car carriage
A cable car carriage for transporting goods or passengers has two opposing spaced-apart crawlers. Each of the crawlers has a crawler chain composed of juxtaposed chain links. A support cable can be inserted between the opposing crawlers on the opposing chain links of the crawler chains. A pressing mechanism connects the crawlers with one another, and is designed to adjust the distance between the crawlers as well as the pressing force of the two crawlers relative to each other and/or the pressing force of the two crawlers against the support cable. The crawler chains are driven in a circulating movement by a drive via a crawler running gear, thus moving the cable car carriage along the support cable. A cable crane, a passenger gondola, a cable saddle, and a transport assembly employing the cable car carriage are also disclosed.
