ELECTRIC AERIAL SKY TRAM
An aerial sky tram system includes a plurality of towers, a cable track suspended from the plurality of towers by a support cable, and a sky tram coupled to the cable track. The sky tram includes a plurality of rotors that propel the sky tram along the cable track.
Movable crawl space container
A movable crawl space container comprises a body portion and two amounts of rope that extend from opposite sides of the container. The container has an opening and retains needed equipment within the confines of the container. The container has pointed edges near the first end of the container and near the second end of the container that assist the container in traversing corners and other obstacles found in typical crawl spaces. Sides of the container converge towards rope connection portions on both ends of the container. A worker, such as a plumber, can pull the container down into the crawl space and easily move around the crawl space pulling the container as desired. By placing all the necessary tools in the container, the plumber is able to visit various work sites while maintaining access to tools and other desired items stored in the container.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING AN INSTALLATION FOR TRANSPORTING VEHICLES USING A CONTINUOUSLY MOVING CABLE AND DEVICE CONFIGURED TO IMPLEMENT THE METHOD
Method (200) for controlling an installation for transporting vehicles by at least one continuously moving cable, the method comprising a step of determining at least one oscillation (201) of at least one cable and/or one of the vehicles as a function of at least one parameter chosen from an average tension of the cable, an average speed of the cable, a distance between two successive vehicles, and an average mass carried by the vehicles, a step of generating a database (202) which connects a value of the oscillation to a combination of the average tension of the cable, the average speed of the cable, the distance between two successive vehicles, and the average mass carried by the vehicles, and a step of reducing the oscillation (203) by varying any of the parameters.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED OPERATIONS OF SKI LIFTS
Systems and methods for improved operations of ski lifts increase skier safety at on-boarding and off-boarding locations by providing an always-on, always-alert system that “watches” these locations, identifies developing problem situations, and initiates mitigation actions. One or more video cameras feed live video to a video processing module. The video processing module feeds resulting sequences of images to an artificial intelligence (AI) engine. The AI engine makes an inference regarding existence of a potential problem situation based on the sequence of images. This inference is fed to an inference processing module, which determines if the inference processing module should send an alert or interact with the lift motor controller to slow or stop the lift.
