TREAD STEP SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR A TREAD SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
A modular tread step seal assembly includes a tread step module which, using a drive unit, is movable along a movement axis from a retracted position in the direction of an extended position and vice versa. The tread step module has a tread surface extending in a tread surface plane oriented parallel to the movement axis and a tread step module front edge at a front end directed towards the outside of the vehicle. The assembly includes a sealing strip attached to the tread step module front edge and extends along the same, substantially in a sealing strip plane. The sealing strip and tread step module define, perpendicularly to the movement axis, a vertical assembly height. The sealing strip and tread surface are disposed at an angle to each other. The wherein assembly height and the angle between the sealing strip and the tread surface are adjustable via a modular mechanism.

RAILCAR SAFETY APPLIANCES
According to some embodiments, a railcar comprises a pair of trucks near each end of the railcar, and a well component supported by and disposed between the trucks. The well component comprises two parallel top chords. A pair of end sections are supported by the trucks and disposed at each end of the railcar. At least one end section comprises a pair of running boards. Each running board is disposed on one of the top chords of the well component. The end section further comprises a well platform disposed near an end of the well component at a first height generally even with the pair of running boards and an end platform disposed near one end of the railcar at a second height. The second height is lower than the first height. The end section also comprises an inclined connecting platform extending between the end platform and the well platform.

RETRACTABLE STEP HAVING A LIFTING AND RAMP FUNCTION
A boarding system for a vehicle for transporting people includes a retractable step that has a lifting function and a ramp function. An extendable front edge of the retractable step and a rear edge of the retractable step are arranged behind in the direction of travel and are adjustable in terms of height.
BOGIE, RAIL VEHICLE HAVING SAME, AND RAIL TRANSPORT SYSTEM
A bogie includes a bogie frame, a first running wheel and a second running wheel, at least one driving device, a first horizontal wheel, a second horizontal wheel, a first horizontal safety wheel connected to the first horizontal wheel and moving in synchronization with the first horizontal wheel, and a second horizontal safety wheel connected to the second horizontal wheel and moving in synchronization with the second horizontal wheel. The bogie frame has a straddle recess suitable for straddling a rail. The first running wheel and the second running wheel are pivotably mounted onto the bogie frame respectively and are coaxially spaced apart. The at least one driving device is mounted onto the bogie frame and located between the first running wheel and the second running wheel to drive the first running wheel and the second running wheel.
Rail transport system
The present disclosure discloses a rail vehicle. The rail vehicle includes: a plurality of bogies, where the bogie has a straddle recess suitable for straddling a rail; and a vehicle body, where the vehicle body is connected to the plurality of bogies and pulled by the plurality of bogies to travel along the rail, and the vehicle body includes a plurality of compartments hinged sequentially along a length direction of the rail; the plurality of compartments forms at least one compartment group, the compartment group includes three compartments hinged sequentially, and the bottom of each of only compartments that are located at two ends of the compartment group and that are of the three compartments is connected to the bogie; and in the length direction of the rail, a surface that is of a compartment at at least one end of the vehicle body and that faces away from an adjacent compartment is provided with an escape door that can be opened and closed. The rail vehicle according to this embodiment of the present disclosure facilitates optimization of the structure of an escape passage, reduction in occupied space and the weight borne by the rail, and improvement in stability, and is flexible in steering and low in costs.
