A passenger transport vehicle contains an air conditioner which has a refrigerant circuit operated using a refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit has a condenser with a fan for conveying cooling air and an evaporator for controlling the temperature of supply air conveyed by a supply fan into a passenger compartment. Flow ducts for the cooling air and for the supply air are fluidically separated from one another inside the air conditioner by a partition wall. The partition wall has a degassing device being switched between a closed state for normal operation of the air conditioner and an open state for emergency operation of the air conditioner, in which emergency operation the degassing device fluidically connects the flow duct for the cooling air and the flow duct for the supply air to one another. A refrigerant detector is provided and when it detects the refrigerant, it triggers actuation of the degassing device.

To provide a railroad vehicle 10 capable of controlling a private room temperature and a guest room temperature with a simple configuration without increasing the number of manufacturing steps and without requiring complicated control while using a common air conditioner in view of the fact that the number of passengers of a private room and the number of passengers of a general guest room are largely different from each other in many cases, which causes a change in indoor temperature. A railroad vehicle 10 includes a private room 12, a guest room 11, an air conditioner 20, and a main duct 30 for supplying conditioned air conditioned by the air conditioner 20 to the guest room 11, a branch duct 40 for connecting the main duct 30 to the private room 12 is provided in order to supply the conditioned air, and the branch duct 40 includes an introduced air port 42 for introducing the air of the guest room 11 to the branch duct 40 in accordance with a difference between the pressure in the guest room 11 and the pressure in the branch duct 40 or the private room 12.

Railcar backup cooling system

A railcar backup cooling system may be added to an existing railcar (e.g., a boxcar) to provide supplemental or backup cooling to the railcar in the event that an HVAC failure or other circumstance occurs, which causes the interior temperature of the railcar to rise. The system includes a container of liquid or compressed gas mounted on the railcar, a valve controlling the flow of the liquid or gas from the container, and a controller configured to open the valve when the HVAC system fails or is otherwise unable to maintain the railcar at the desired temperature. When the valve is opened, the liquid and/or gas stored in the container may exit, expanding into a cool gas and thereby acting to cool the railcar environment.

HEAT DISSIPATION SYSTEM FOR HIGH-SPEED TRAIN RUNNING IN LOW-VACUUM TUBE

A heat dissipation system for a high-speed train running in a low-vacuum tube is provided. Component groups that provide power and resistance for the movement and stop of a train are provided at a periphery, close to the train, in a low-vacuum tube. The component group is provided with a group A cooling assembly. The group A cooling assembly includes a group A cooling-type heat exchanger and/or a group A nozzle assembly attached to the back of the component group. Since the friction between the train running at high speed and the air in the low-vacuum tube and the operation of the key equipment in the low-vacuum tube will generate a lot of heat, the group A cooling assembly in the component group in the low-vacuum tube exchanges the heat with the air in the low-vacuum tube.

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE

Provided is an air conditioning system for a railway vehicle that is of a roof installation type. The air conditioning system includes a heat exchanger through which at least air inside the railway vehicle passes, and an ultraviolet-ray irradiation device. The heat exchanger and the ultraviolet-ray irradiation device are arranged between an upper cover curved in an upwardly protruding shape and a bottom plate. The heat exchanger has an air suction surface arranged so as to be irradiated with ultraviolet rays generated by the ultraviolet-ray irradiation device. A member that does not transmit the ultraviolet rays is arranged on a straight line interconnecting the ultraviolet-ray irradiation device and an interior space of the railway vehicle.

COMFORT VENTILATION FOR A SANITARY MODULE FOR A VEHICLE
20230143478 · 2023-05-11 ·

A passenger transport vehicle, such as a rail vehicle, has at least one sanitary module and at least one fan for conveying waste air from the sanitary module. A control unit controls the volumetric flow of waste air from the sanitary module. The control unit is formed for at least two volumetric flows of waste air, which differ from one another and differ from zero. The volumetric flows are conveyed by the at least one fan, at least on the basis of a state of the sanitary module.

Recording device for railroad vehicle, air conditioning device for railroad vehicle, and recording method for railroad vehicle

A detector detects physical quantities relating to an operation of a vehicle air-conditioning device at a predetermined sampling frequency to generate groups of time-series data items. A volatile tracking memory has a work area to which the groups of time-series data items for a tracking period is writable. A record holding power accumulator supplies, to the tracking memory, power used for holding in the work area the groups of time-series data items. A writer sequentially overwrites the groups of time-series data to the work area of the tracking memory and stops overwriting of the groups of time-series data items to the work area when an abnormality occurs in the vehicle air-conditioning device.
