A vehicle coupling assembly includes a bearing bracket, a rod, a pin and an abutment element. The bearing bracket includes compressible elements, a connection member intermediate the compressible elements, and a rear plate rearward of the connection member. The rod has an end wall, a first side of which is adjacent to one of the compressible elements. The pin extends through the compressible elements, a connection member hole defined in the bearing bracket, and an end wall hole of the rod. A pin support surface at a first pin end faces a first side of the connection member, one of the compressible elements being between the pin support surface and the second side of the connection member. The abutment element is at a second pin end, and abuts a second side of the end wall of the rod.

KNUCKLE PIN

A knuckle pin, coupling system, and method for producing a knuckle pin are provided, the knuckle pin having a cylindrical body with a longitudinal slot therein separating vertical edges of the cylindrical body, with one or more first retaining elements that span outward of the cylindrical body, and a second retainer that includes one or more of opposing apertures, and bendable legs. A method for producing the knuckle pin is provided, where a blank is stamped into a workpiece that corresponds to the pin to be produced, and the stamped workpiece is rolled to produce the pin with the slot.

Railway vehicle and joint connector thereof

A joint connector of a railway vehicle comprises a concave joint (22) and a convex joint (21). A traction load transfer section and/or a compression load transfer section are provided between the concave joint and the convex joint. The traction load transfer section and the compression load transfer section are detachable assembled in the concave joint. The service life of the concave joint is prolonged due to the arrangement of the traction load transfer section and the compression load transfer section.

A non-stop train system including a plurality of train cars in communication with one another and in communication with an electronic control module. The train system includes a track or any number of parallel tracks having a plurality of drop off and pick up locations. A prepositioned train car is stopped at one of the drop off and pick up locations. A non-stop express train approaches and passes by the drop off and pick up location on the track initiating the prepositioned train car to begin departure. The electronic control module is used to adjust the speed of the non-stop express train and the prepositioned train car based on a detected distance such that a rear coupler of the non-stop express train couples to the front coupler of the prepositioned train car while moving along the track.

A rail vehicle front end has a center buffer coupling with a free coupling end section such that the free coupling end section is connectable to a further center buffer coupling of a further rail vehicle front end. The center buffer coupling extends along a longitudinal axis in a rest position. The center buffer coupling is mounted in such a way that the free coupling end section can be pivoted with respect to the longitudinal axis. The rail vehicle front end has a front panel that radially surrounds the center buffer coupling at least in sections such that a front opening pointing substantially in the longitudinal direction is defined between the front panel and the center buffer coupling. A cover device for covering the front opening extending between a front panel and a center buffer coupling of a rail vehicle is also disclosed.
