Remote natural gas supply station using LNG tank container and method for supplying natural gas using the same
A natural gas supply station includes an installation structure on which an LNG tank container is installed and a gas vaporizer that receives a liquefied natural gas from the LNG tank container to vaporize the liquefied natural gas. The installation structure includes a moving part reciprocatively moving in a direction in which the LNG tank container is unloaded from a transport unit, and the moving part is separably fixed to the LNG tank container to move the LNG tank container loaded on the transport unit to the installation structure or the LNG tank container loaded on the installation structure to the transport unit.
AUTONOMOUS SCOUTING RAIL VEHICLE
Various embodiments of an autonomous rail vehicle that can travel ahead of a locomotive at a distance proportional to the locomotive's stopping capability are disclosed. The rail vehicle may scan its surroundings, gauges track conditions, and communicates with locomotive operators of the scanned results in real-time to timely enable activation of the locomotive's emergency brakes in case of detection of off-normal track conditions. The rail vehicle may paired with the locomotive and provides eyes to locomotive operators so that they can have information on tracks viability well ahead of the locomotive.
SINGLE WHEELED KNUCKLE CARRIER
A compact single wheeled knuckle carrier which may be easily stowed and take up minimal space within the engine while simultaneously being easily maneuverable and robust enough to assist a person in carrying a train knuckle over rough terrain and over distance. The compact single wheeled knuckle carrier has a support member that couples the knuckle to the carrier and can include a slide lock to secure the knuckle to the support member. The compact single wheeled knuckle carrier has a pin holder that carries a pin that is used with the knuckle.

Rail car lifting device
A lifting device for lifting a rail car includes a frame with a load plate movably disposed thereon and a back plate movably disposed on the frame and coupled to the load plate. The lifting device further includes a first actuator disposed on the frame and operatively coupled to the back plate and at least one second actuator operatively coupled to the load plate such that the first actuator and the at least one second actuator produce forces in first and second directions. Further still, the first actuator and the at least one second actuator move the load plate of the lifting device in a substantially vertical direction.

Portable profiler for locomotive or railcar wheels
A portable apparatus for configuring a wheel associated with a track is provided. The apparatus is in a fixed position with respect to a rail associated with the track when in operation. The apparatus includes a tool configured to engage the wheel, a position system for positioning the cutting tool in at least two axis, and a computer control. The computer control is coupled to control the positioning system. The positioning system is controlled so that the wheel is configured in accordance with a profile.
Lifting column, lifting system and method for lifting a vehicle such as a rail-car
A lifting column, lifting system and method for lifting a vehicle, such as a rail-car. The lifting column includes a frame having a movable carrier; a drive operably connected to the frame for the lifting or lowering of the carrier; and a lifter attached to the carrier for lifting the vehicle to be lifted. The lifter includes a positioner for moving of the lifter relative to the carrier.

Railway inspection system
A railway inspection system for monitoring defects of a rail, including an inspection vehicle configured for traversing the rail, a sensor disposed on the vehicle configured for obtaining rail condition data, a memory disposed on the vehicle and storing previous rail condition data from a previous traversal of the rail, a display device disposed on the vehicle, a processor disposed on the vehicle and a non-transitory computer-readable medium disposed on the vehicle and containing instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause performance of the following steps in real-time as the vehicle traverses the rail, namely obtaining current rail condition data from the sensor, displaying on the display device representative images of the current rail condition data, retrieving the previous rail condition data from the memory, and displaying on the display device representative images of the previous rail condition data.
