Abnormality diagnostic device and method therefor
According to one embodiment, an abnormality diagnostic device includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry learns, based on a model generated from sensor data of a diagnostic object in a railroad vehicle, a data selection condition for selecting the sensor data utilized to diagnose the diagnostic object. The processing circuitry diagnoses abnormality of the diagnostic object based on the sensor data satisfying the data selection condition and a diagnostic model representing a relation between the sensor data and the abnormality of the diagnostic object.

Online train wheel fault detection device
The present invention discloses an online fault detection device for train wheels, including: base rails 1, working rails 2, guard rails 3, and transducer detectors 4. A section is cut off from each of the symmetrically arranged base rails 1; a section of the working rail 2 transitions into and is attached to an outer side of the base rail 1 for bearing a train wheel; a section of the guard rail 3 transitions into and is attached to a position near an inner side of the base rail 1 for preventing a wheel rim from derailment; transducer detectors 4 and sensors thereof are placed in the space between working rail and guard rail; and the transducer detectors 4 perform automated detection by connecting to a data collection and processing system such as an external computer. With the present invention, good detection effects, low cost, and quick detection of a fault can be achieved.
Rail track geometry measurement
A rail gauge measurement tool includes a frame mounting the tool to a rail vehicle, and an engagement unit that moves relative to the frame. The engagement unit has a first contacting element that maintains contact with a rail as the vehicle moves along a rail track, and a pair of parallel connecting shafts. The tool also includes an air cylinder exerting a biasing force so that the engagement unit maintains contact with the rail as the vehicle travels along the rail track. The tool also includes a linear sensor, separate from the air cylinder, that measures movement of the first rail engagement unit relative to the frame. The linear sensor and the air cylinder are parallel, but in a different plane from the parallel connecting shafts to lend structural support to the tool.
MAGNETIC ELEVATED WHEEL
A magnetic elevated wheel assembly of a vehicle may include at least one wheel mounted on an axle, at least one magnet mounted on at least one of the axle or a vehicle body, and a shell connected to the at least one wheel. The shell may extend from the at least one wheel in an axial direction and may be positioned radially outward of at least a portion the at least one magnet. The at least one magnet may be configured and oriented to generate a magnetic force acting on the shell to elevate at least a portion of a weight of the vehicle acting on the axle to balance a rolling resistance acting on the at least one wheel.
System and method for aggregation display and analysis of rail vehicle event information
This disclosure relates to a rail vehicle event analysis system configured to facilitate analysis of rail vehicle event records that correspond to rail vehicle events. The system may be configured to visually present a user with information related to operation of a rail vehicle. The user may review the information related to operation of the rail vehicle in real time, responsive to the rail vehicle being involved in a rail vehicle event, and/or at other times. The system may be configured to visually present information based on output signals generated by one or more sensors associated with the rail vehicle. The system may synchronize the presented information such that information from individual sensors may be compared and/or viewed at the same time by the user. The system may be configured to receive observations made by the user based on the user's review of the presented visual information.

Derail alarm systems
A derail alarm system for notifying a tamping machine operator that a tamping projector buggy is in a derailed condition. A rail sensor with an ultrasonic beam attaches to a tamping projector buggy to sense alignment with a metal rail. When the ultrasonic sensor detects an out-of-tolerance condition, aural and red-LED light visual indications are electronically provided to the tamping machine operator. The tamping machine operator may disable the aural indication and change the red-LED indication to an amber-LED indication until the ultrasonic sensor detects an in-tolerance condition. A limit switch deactivates the cradle sensor when the tamping projector buggy is raised and stored in the travel position for a higher speed transport condition.

VERSINE TROLLEY-TYPE EQUIPMENT FOR INSPECTING TRACK IRREGULARITY
Provided is versine trolley-type equipment for inspecting a track irregularity, having sensors respectively provided to a trolley so as to measure a height difference, direction misalignment, gauge irregularity, rail longitudinal slope, cant and the like of railroad rails, and simultaneously measuring the height difference and direction misalignment of a left rail and a right rail so as to reduce a measurement time by half and, also, allowing left and right measurement frames to freely move in a vertical direction within a predetermined range, thereby bringing front and rear trolley wheels of the left and right measurement frames into close contact with the rails all the time even if the rails are warped.
