Hyperloop continuous control

A disclosed controller is configured with logic that, when executed, performs actions to extend landing gear of a maglev vehicle. The actions include receiving a height control target value and transitioning between a standby control state and an active control state. The controller maintains the landing gear in a fixed position when the controller is in the standby control state, and the controller controls extension and retraction of the landing gear according to the height control target value when the controller is in the active control state.

AIRLOCK WITH A PNEUMATIC ORIFICE FOR THE VACUUM TRAIN SYSTEM

The disclosure describes an airlock with a pneumatic orifice, characterized in that the orifice chamber is located inside the tunnel, together with an inactive expansion element made up of a flexible material consisting of an external torus and an internal membrane, which is activated by compressed air produced by compressors placed in a housing.

A multifunctional track system with two or more independently movable trolleys which can run along the track system and are adapted to receive multiple interchangeable components for data collection, navigation, and cargo transportation is disclosed. The trolleys and the track system communicate data to a central station, which monitors and sends instructions to the trolleys. The system can have horizontal, vertical or angular segments and the trolleys are enabled to move along all segments and switch between tracks. Various operational units in the trolleys are possible in the same system.

Systems and methods for determining wind velocity

In one embodiment, a system includes a vehicle, one or more probes coupled to the vehicle, and a controller. The vehicle is operable to traverse a distance. The one or more probes are operable to measure wind pressure and generate one or more wind pressure measurements. The controller is operable to receive the one or more wind pressure measurements from the one or more probes, determine a wind angle relative to the vehicle using the one or more wind pressure measurements, and determine a wind speed relative to the vehicle using the one or more wind pressure measurements and the wind angle.

Systems and methods for detecting tanks in railway environments

In one embodiment, a method includes identifying, by an image detection tool, a tank within an image of a railway environment and identifying, by the image detection tool, a railroad track within the image of the railway environment. The method also includes determining, by the image detection tool, a distance between the tank and the railroad track and comparing, by the image detection tool, the distance between the tank and the railroad track to a predetermined threshold distance. The method further includes determining, by the image detection tool, that the tank presents a hazard to the railway environment in response to comparing the distance between the tank and the railroad track to the predetermined threshold distance.
