Three-wheel cargo cart with adjustable handle height
10919554 · 2021-02-16 ·

A hand propelled three wheeled cart for transporting miscellaneous cargo. The basic cart has a single front wheel with two solid rear supports, such as a standard wheelbarrow. The two rear wheels are attached to a lever that is pivotally connected to the lever mounting support brackets. Lifting the handles pries the two rear wheels, into position, elevating the rear cart support legs off the ground. This cam action reduces the operators lifting effort and improves the lateral stability of the cart. Releasing the handles automatically anchors the cart.

A belt-driven attachment system is disclosed. The attachment system includes a mobile power unit with a drive pulley and a power unit interface for connection of an attachment. The attachment includes at least one driven pulley and a first belt guide to maintain the belt aligned with the at least one driven pulley when tension on the belt is released. The attachment also includes an idler pulley and an idler position assembly coupled to the idler pulley. The idler position assembly provides a first position setting for the idler pulley in which tension on the belt is maintained and a second position setting for the idler pulley in which tension on the belt is released. The attachment also includes a second belt guide to maintain the belt aligned with the idler pulley when tension on the belt is released.

Self-balancing and power-assisted payload carrying vehicles using operator-applied force sensing

A method of operating a payload-carrying vehicle having two laterally disposed wheels positioned along a central axis is described. The method includes measuring a force applied by a user to the hand truck, where the measured force comprising a direction and a magnitude, and providing torque to each wheel to cause each wheel to rotate in a respective direction as a function of the measured magnitude and direction. The amount of torque provided to each wheel in response to the force from the user is such that the magnitude of measured force applied by the user is not greater than a predetermined threshold value.

Medical instruments stroller

A pool cue case caddy for carrying and securing a pool cue case includes a frame comprising a pair of parallel bars and a handle. A base is coupled to a bottom end of each of the bars and perpendicularly extends forward to support a pool cue case. A support comprises a pair of legs pivotably coupled to the pair of bars and a foot extending between a distal end of each of the legs. The support has a folded position extending towards the top end of the frame and an alternate extended position with the foot contacting the ground and the legs maintaining the frame in a vertical position. A pair of wheels is coupled adjacent the bottom end of each of the pair of bars.

Four position hand truck

A hand truck includes a frame that is supported by main wheels and a handle having two side members. Two handle brackets are pivotably mounted on opposite sides of the frame. The handle brackets are arranged for rotation in relation to the frame around a handle rotation axis. The handle brackets slidably receive the side members of the handle so that the handle is able to slide between a first retracted position and a second extended position. The handle is also able to rotate with the handle brackets between first and second rotational positions. A lock mechanism that is mechanically associated with the handle brackets and the handle is able to releasably lock the degree of extension of the handle in at least one position between the retracted and extended positions and is able to lock the rotational position of the handle in at least one rotational position.
