STEERING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A steering system is provided with a control unit (15) configured to determine a target steered angle (αt) according to a steering angle (β) of a steering shaft (18) which is fitted with a steering wheel (19) and drive a steering actuator so as to cause the steered angle (α) to coincide with the target steered angle, and to determine a target reaction force (Tt) according to a steered state of the wheels and drive a reaction force actuator (13) so as to cause the reaction force to coincide with the target reaction force. The control unit is configured to correct an output of the steering angle sensor in such a manner that a geometric steering center of the steering wheel coincides with a mechanical steering center of the steering shaft upon receiving a prescribed input (S) from a manual input switch (37).
STEERING CONTROL DEVICE AND STANDARD VALUE ADJUSTMENT METHOD
A steering control device includes a control unit. The control unit is configured to execute a control angle calculation process, an angle feedback process, and a standard value adjustment process. The control angle calculation process is a process of calculating a control angle as an absolute angle relative to a standard value, and the angle feedback process is a process of performing feedback control on the control angle, and the standard value adjustment process is a process of adjusting the stored standard value. The standard value adjustment process includes a process of, when, in a straight-ahead state, the control angle deviates from a value showing the straight-ahead state, adjusting the standard value such that the deviation of the control angle from the value showing the straight-ahead state decreases.
STEERING COLUMN FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A steering column for a motor vehicle may include a steering shaft mounted in a casing unit so as to be rotatable about a longitudinal axis, and a feedback actuator that has an electric motor with a motor shaft that is aligned axially along a motor axis, arranged at a distance parallel to the longitudinal axis, and coupled to the steering shaft via a transmission. The motor is connected to a control unit for electrical operation. The control unit may be integrated with the feedback actuator. And the transmission may be arranged axially between the motor and the control unit.
Rollover prevention apparatus
The rollover prevention apparatus defines an adaptive steering range limiting device comprising a control unit and a pair of opposing unidirectional brake assemblies mounted to a steering column position detection disc. The rollover prevention apparatus prevents the steering wheel of the vehicle from being turned beyond the threshold of vehicle rollover, but otherwise does not restrict the rotational range of motion of the steering wheel of a vehicle.
Electric power steering device
In an electric power steering, a control unit includes a first power module configured to supply current to first motor windings, a first control board configured to output a control signal to the first power module, a second power module configured to supply current to second motor windings, a second control board configured to output a control signal to the second power module, and a heat sink. The heat sink includes a column portion having a plurality of mounting portions defined by flat surfaces parallel to the axial direction of the output shaft. The first control board and the second control board are each mounted along a corresponding one of one pair of opposing mounting portions, and the first power module and the second power module are each mounted along a corresponding one of another pair of opposing mounting portions.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING SUBMERSION DETECTION CIRCUIT, OPERATING METHOD THEREOF, AND STEER-BY-WIRE STEERING DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
An electronic device includes a circuit board having a signal detection terminal disposed on a first surface thereof and a ground terminal disposed on a second surface thereof and extending vertically so that the first surface and the second surface face each other in a horizontal direction, a monitoring terminal connected with the signal detection terminal, and a microcontroller unit (MCU) determining whether there is submersion by monitoring a voltage at the monitoring terminal. According to the present embodiments, it is possible to prevent hypersensitivity-induced misdetection due to condensation and dew. It is also possible to stepwise respond to submersion and determine whether the monitoring circuit normally operates to precisely detect submersion.
Driving assistance apparatus
A driving assistance apparatus predicts an appropriate operation amount which is an operation amount performed by a driver in correspondence with the external environment, and sets the appropriate operation amount range including the appropriate operation amount, an appropriate operation amount range including the appropriate operation amount, and changes the reaction force characteristics of the operation device when it is determined that the operation amount of the driver corresponding to the prediction time point of the appropriate operation amount is not included in the appropriate operation amount range.
STEER-BY-WIRE STEERING APPARATUS
According to embodiments of the present invention, the maximum rotation angle of a steering wheel can be easily changed, the steering feel provided to a driver can be enhanced by improved noise performance, and the durability of components can be improved.
STEERING SYSTEM
A steering system is configured such that electric power is supplied to a steering actuator and a turning actuator from a first power supply when a power state of a vehicle is an on state and supply of the electric power from the first power supply is cut off when the power state is an off state. The steering system includes a rotation curbing unit configured to operate such that rotation of the steering wheel is curbed in at least a part of a first power-off period from when the power state becomes an off state until when the power state becomes the on state next, as an operating period, and a second power supply configured to supply, to the rotation curbing unit, the electric power required for operation of the rotation curbing unit in the operating period, the second power supply being different from the first power supply.
