The wheel mechanism includes an omni wheel coupled to the base and engaged with a surface of the spherical wheel, and an actuator coupled to the base and to the omni wheel, where the actuator configured to rotate the omni wheel to cause rotation of the spherical wheel.

A control assembly for use with a vehicle having a pivot arm for controlling output of the vehicle includes a bracket, a yoke attached to the pivot arm, and a shaft engaged to the yoke and extending into the bracket. The pivot arm is rotatable about a first axis of rotation between a neutral position and a plurality of forward positions and a plurality of reverse positions. When in the neutral position, the pivot arm may also rotate about a second axis of rotation between an operative position and a stopped position, and a switch may be engaged when the pivot arm is rotated to the stopped position. A return to neutral assembly may provide a return force to the pivot arm when it is rotated about the first axis of rotation away from the neutral position.

The drive control unit includes a single mode employing either one of the first control method and the second control method and a composite mode employing the first control mode and the second control mode in time-differentiated combination. In the composite mode, based on a difference between the left speed instruction and the right speed instruction, a combination ratio between the first control method and the second control method is determined.

Tracked vehicle with steering compensation

A tracked vehicle includes a pilot control module which enables the pilot to steer the tracked vehicle using an existing joystick of the tracked vehicle. The tracked vehicle also includes a dual track drive pedal which drives the tracks of the vehicle simultaneously. The joystick is used to make steering corrections when utilizing the dual track drive pedal.

When the vehicle is operating in a pre-defined condition, a steering controller may control the second front drive control valve to divert a portion of the defined fluid flow from the first front drive control valve to define a reduced fluid flow, which is communicated to the front differential hydraulic drive system, to reduce a steering ratio of the front differential hydraulic drive system relative to the rear steering system, to desensitize steering provided by the front differential hydraulic drive system.

The work vehicle also includes control sections that control the outputs of the straight-traveling system transmission path and the output of the turning system transmission paths in cooperation with each other, a transmission operation tool that specifies the output of the straight-traveling system transmission path, and a detector that detects the output of the straight-traveling system transmission path. The control sections select one of an instruction value from the transmission operation tool and an actually measured value from the detector and set the output of the turning system transmission path.
