Provided is a vehicle capable of: acquiring an image of a road in front of a vehicle in an autonomous driving mode; recognizing a lane line, a subject lane, and an obstacle on the acquired image of the road; determining whether the recognized obstacle is in a stationary state based on obstacle information detected by an obstacle detector; acquiring, if the obstacle in the stationary state exists on at least one of two subject lane lines constituting the subject lane, a width of involvement of the lane line crossed by the obstacle; determining whether keeping of travelling on the subject lane is to be performed based on the acquired width of involvement; performing a deflection control within the subject lane to avoid the obstacle in the stationary state if it is determined that the keeping of travelling on the subject lane is to be performed; and performing control of departure from the subject lane or deceleration control if it is determined that the keeping of travelling on the subject lane is not to be performed.

REVERSE SWITCH ACTIVATION MECHANISM
20210039711 · 2021-02-11 ·

A reverse switch activation mechanism includes forward and reverse pedals connected to a control arm for pivoting the control arm in first and second directions. A cam surface extends from the control arm and activates a reverse switch if the reverse pedal is partially depressed. A transmission control rod is connected to the control arm through a lost motion slot and moves rearwardly if the reverse pedal is depressed further after activating the reverse switch. A control rod keeper on the control arm biases the control rod pin to a first side of the lost motion slot.

VEHICLE STEERING ASSEMBLY
20230415808 · 2023-12-28 ·

A vehicle steering assembly for controlling movement of a vehicle having independently rotatable left and right ground-engaging traction elements. The steering assembly comprises a steering handle and a steering controller positioned generally below the steering handle and actuated by movement of the steering handle. The steering handle includes an upright shaft and a laterally-extending crossmember fixed to the top of the upright shaft. A flexible protective cover is attached to the shaft and is configured to prevent dirt and debris from entering the steering controller. The steering handle is shiftable in forward and rearward directions to thereby cause corresponding forward and rearward rotation of both of the left and right traction elements. The steering handle is rotatable in clockwise and counterclockwise directions to thereby cause a change in the relative speeds and directions of rotation of the left and right traction elements.

Track system

A track system includes an attachment assembly including at least one of a first pivot defining a roll pivot axis, a second pivot defining a pitch pivot axis, and a third pivot defining a yaw pivot axis of the track system. A frame assembly is disposed laterally outwardly from the attachment assembly and connected to the attachment assembly. The track system further includes at least one actuator for pivoting the frame assembly about at least one of the roll and yaw pivot axes, and at least one monitoring for determining, at least indirectly, at least one of a state of the track system and a ground surface condition. The at least one monitoring sensor is communicating with a track system controller to control the operation of the at least one actuator based on the at least one of the state of the track system and the ground surface condition.

Stability control system

A drive and control system is provided for use on a zero turn vehicle, and includes first and second hydraulic ground drives independently driving a set of driven wheels. Each ground drive has an electric actuator to control the output thereof. An operator mechanism generates a drive signal corresponding to a neutral drive position or to one of a plurality of non-neutral drive positions of the operator mechanism, and a steering signal corresponding to a neutral steering position or to one of a plurality of non-neutral steering positions of the operator mechanism. Sensors generate signals corresponding to sensed roll, pitch and yaw parameters. A stability control module includes a processor for receiving the drive and steering signals and for providing output signals to the electric actuators.

Oscillation limited driven steering track assembly
10889322 · 2021-01-12 · ·

An oscillation limited driven steering track assembly includes a track mechanism coupled to and driven by a hydraulic motor. The motor is pivotally secured about a steering axis to a stub axle which partially supports a land vehicle. A longitudinally extensible and retractable apparatus extends between the track mechanism and the stub axle. One end of the apparatus is pivotally secured to a post secured to and extending from the track mechanism parallel with the motor shaft axis of rotation. A yoke is provided between the apparatus other end and pivotally secures the apparatus to the stub axle about the steering axis and, also, about a pivot axis perpendicular to the steering axis. Oscillation of the track mechanism about the motor shaft is limited by the apparatus. Simultaneously, the apparatus does not interfere with the track mechanism while the mechanism is rotated about the steering axis for steering the vehicle.
