Light-weight beam assembly and truck trailer using the same
Light-weight beam assembly and truck trailer using the same are disclosed herein. The light-weight beam assembly is a beam being a single unitary continuous piece comprising at least two cutouts cut through, at least one vertically extending supporting member and a plurality of reinforcement members. Two beams may be connected by a plurality of transversal members for use in a truck trailer.
Chassis assembly and vehicle
The present disclosure provides a chassis assembly and a vehicle. The chassis component includes: a chassis provided with a plurality of mounting positions and configured to install a battery module; a quick-release device through which the battery module is installed on the mounting positions, wherein the quick-release device is controlled by a control system; and a voltage electrical connecting assembly electrically connected to the battery module, wherein the voltage electrical connecting assembly is controlled by the control system. The vehicle includes the chassis assembly.
MODULAR VEHICLE
The invention is a modular vehicle that is intended for a variety of operations including both military and civilian operations. The vehicle addresses the issue of performing special purpose tasks that the vehicle is asked to do. Such tasks can be accomplished by configuring the vehicle as an ambulance, as a fire-fighting vehicle, as a communications van, as a command and control vehicle, etc. Thus, the vehicle is readily adapted using standardized and customized modules that are readily attached to a standardized platform that includes an appropriate interconnection means.

Automobile frame component
An automobile frame component includes a closed section constituted by welding a flange portion to a panel part, wherein when a welding position coordinate is represented in a coordinate system in which an end of a contact position between the flange portion and the panel part is assumed as 0, and a flange outer end side of the flange portion is assumed as negative () whereas a vertical wall side is assumed as positive (+), and when a radius of a circular arc-like portion connecting a vertical wall portion and the flange portion in the substantially hat-like shape is denoted as R (mm), and a weldable gap amount is denoted as a (mm), a welding position X represented by the following formula is continuously welded using a one-side welding method:
+(2Raa.sup.2)X>1.5 where R2.
Vehicle frame member
A vehicle frame member includes: an outer panel configured to be disposed at a vehicle outer side, and having a U-shaped cross-section open toward a vehicle inner side; an inner panel configured to be disposed at the vehicle inner side, having a U-shaped cross-section open toward the vehicle outer side, and configuring a closed cross section structure together with the outer panel by both opening-ends of the inner panel respectively abutting and being joined to both opening-ends of the outer panel; and a bead formed at one or both abutting-joint portions between the outer panel and the inner panel, and projecting toward an outside of the closed cross section structure.
Frame assembly for a vehicle and vehicle having same
A front frame assembly for mounting a front suspension and wheel assembly of a vehicle can include lower frame members, first frame members, second frame members, a cross frame member and a plate. The pair of first and second frame members can be connected to and can extend upwardly from a respective one of the lower frame members. The pair of second frame members can be connected to the respective one of the lower frame members and a respective one of the first frame members. The cross frame member can be connected to and extend from each of the first frame members. The plate can be connected to and can extend from the each of the first frame and second members and the cross frame member. The plate can include a ridge configured to cause the plate to buckle in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle under predetermined conditions.
Anchor for removably attaching a component to a frame member and method for using same
An anchor for removably attaching an accessory to a frame member having an outer surface and a slot defined in the outer surface. The anchor comprises a body that has a surface that is generally complementary in shape to a portion of the outer surface of the frame member that surrounds the slot, a shank that from the surface, the shank being sized to be received in the slot and defining an aperture extending from a free end of the shank toward the surface. The aperture is adapted to receive a fastener. The anchor also includes at least one projection extending from a side of the shank. A vehicle having the frame member and the anchor is provided. A method of attaching a component to a frame member using the anchor is provided.
