ELECTROMAGNETIC AIRBORNE HYBRID VEHICLE
An electromagnetic vehicle chassis that is configured with an upper portion and a lower portion wherein the upper portion is movable to a second position and supported therein with an electromagnetic field. The vehicle of the present invention includes a frame having the upper portion movable so as to reduce the overall vehicle weight and as such require less propulsion force resulting in reduced energy consumption. The upper portion of the frame of the present invention is moved into its second position utilizing hydraulic cylinders. Electromagnets present on both the upper portion and lower portion maintain the upper portion in its second position. A battery compartment having a plurality of batteries is operably coupled to the lower portion of the frame. The body of the vehicle includes a plurality of photovoltaic cells electrically coupled to the plurality of batteries.
Refuse body adapter
A refuse body adapter includes a sub-frame assembly, a sub-frame adapter, and a spacer. The sub-frame assembly is configured to be coupled to a cargo body. The sub-frame adapter is configured to be coupled to a chassis of a vehicle. The spacer is coupled to both the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter. The spacer is disposed in a gap formed between the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter. A thickness of the spacer may be adjusted to accommodate different gap sizes between the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter.
Vehicle frame assembly
An assembly includes a pair of frame rails, each of the frame rails elongated along a vehicle-longitudinal axis and having a front portion, a rear portion, and an elevated portion above and between the front portion and the rear portion. The assembly includes a cross-support fixed to at least one of the frame rails at the elevated portion and extending along a cross-vehicle axis from one of the frame rails toward the other of the frame rails. The assembly includes a bracket fixed to the frame rail at the elevated portion and fixed to the cross-support.

INTAKE NOISE REDUCTION STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
A bracket 10 has a U-shaped cross section in which a pair of facing plate portions 15 extend from both side edges of a bottom plate portion 12 so as to face each other, and is fixed to a vehicle body side for mounting a predetermined component. The bottom plate portion 12 and the pair of facing plate portions 15 partition a bracket inner space 16, and the bottom plate portion 12 is provided with a through hole 20 which makes the bracket inner space 16 communicate with an outside. A resonator 23 is fixed to the bracket 10 in a state where the resonator 23 is accommodated in the bracket inner space 16. A ventilation passage 29 makes the resonator 23 communicate with the intake duct 21 through the through hole 20.
