STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING SPARE TIRE FOR ANTITHEFT
A structure for mounting a spare tire for antitheft may include a carrier support bracket on which a spare tire is mounted, a bracket mounted at a bottom surface of a vehicle and supporting the spare tire, and a carrier winding or unwinding a wire mounted at the carrier support bracket in order for the spare tire to be moved upwardly and downwardly, the carrier further including a carrier housing including a top surface formed with a through hole, and a bottom surface formed with a projecting hole, a shaft bolt rotatably mounted at the carrier housing and adapted to wind or unwind the wire by rotation thereof, and a socket to transmit a torque applied from an outside of the vehicle to the shaft bolt or to block the torque not to be transmitted to the shaft bolt.
Trailer overhang storage
A trailer vehicle with a forward storage compartment is provided, which maximizes usable space within the trailer vehicle and offers improved storage for the user. The trailer vehicle comprises a towed vehicle with a front overhang portion extending from the front end thereof. The front overhang supports a fifth wheel kingpin connector, and further comprises an enclosed interior volume above the connector. Along a lower surface of the front overhang, one or more storage doors are provided. The storage doors provide access to the interior of the front overhang. Raising and lowering of the storage doors may be assisted by way of a cable winch or fluid-spring struts. Moreover, the storage doors may support specific items, such as spare tires using a tire saddle disposed thereon. Finally, each of the doors is hinged affixed to the overhang and includes securable latches to maintain the doors in a closed state.
Tire carrier and bedslide attachment systems
A modular accessory attachment system for a tire carrier, a bike rack, container, or other structure that can be selectively attached to either a bedslide, cargo box bed, or tailgate hitch, is provided. The modular accessory attachment system may include a plurality of receivers disposed through the deck of the bedslide. Correspondingly sized posts may be extend from the tire carrier, bike rack, other racks, or accessories, and be disposed into the receivers. Pins, detents, or other like attachment means may be employed to secure the posts to the receivers.
Spare tire anti-theft security device
A novel and improved automobile spare tire anti-theft device and method is disclosed. In an embodiment, the spare tire anti-theft device can include a rigid arm member having a proximal end, an arm body, and a distal end. The proximal end can be configured to be removably secured to an automobile. The arm body is configured such that at least a portion of the arm body is positioned adjacent an exposed portion of a sidewall of a tire of a spare tire secured to the automobile when the proximal end is secured to the automobile.
