METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING TRAILER INCLUDED ANGLE, AND VEHICLE
20210356261 · 2021-11-18 ·

The present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus and a vehicle for trailer angle measurement, applied in a semi-trailer including a tractor and a trailer. At least one LiDAR is provided on each of two sides of a rear part of the tractor. A reflector with a reflective surface is fixedly provided at a front part of the trailer, and the reflective surface faces the LiDARs. The method includes: controlling the LiDARs to emit laser light, such that the reflective surface of the reflector reflects the laser light; controlling each of the LiDARs to receive a corresponding laser point cloud reflected by the reflector; and calculating a trailer angle based on the corresponding laser point clouds. The method and apparatus can increase the range of trailer angle measurement, such that the trailer angle can be measured even if the trailer angle is relatively large.

Aerodynamic tractor-trailer

A tractor-trailer is disclosed, with associated apparatuses. A tractor may include a tractor air duct disposed underneath a cab. The tractor air duct may extend between a front opening at a front of the tractor and a rear opening at a rear of the tractor. A trailer may include a duct system that receives airflow from the rear opening of the tractor air duct and directs the airflow to a location behind a cargo compartment. An air distributor may be disposed behind the cargo compartment. An air distributor may include a fairing with openings, so that airflow from the duct system enters a space between the cargo compartment and the fairing, and exits the openings behind the trailer.

MATERIAL VEHICLE, TRACTION APPARATUS AND SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BIDIRECTIONAL TRAVELING OF MATERIAL VEHICLE
20230331322 · 2023-10-19 ·

A material vehicle, a traction apparatus and system, a method for controlling the bidirectional traveling of a material vehicle, and a storage medium. A material vehicle (10) comprises a vehicle body (101), an unlocking assembly (102), a plurality of front universal wheels (103) and a plurality of rear universal wheels (104), wherein the plurality of front universal wheels (103) and the plurality of rear universal wheels (104) are all in a locked state; the vehicle body (101) is used for placing a target article; the unlocking assembly (102) is used for releasing the plurality of front universal wheels (103) from the locked state when same are in a horizontal rotation direction, and controlling the material vehicle (10) to travel in a first direction by means of the plurality of front universal wheels (103); and the unlocking assembly (102) is further used for releasing the plurality of rear universal wheels (104) from the locked state when same are in the horizontal rotation direction, and controlling the material vehicle (10) to travel in a second direction by means of the plurality of rear universal wheels (104), the first direction and the second direction being opposite to each other. By means of the unlocking assembly, the plurality of front universal wheels or the plurality of rear universal wheels can be released from the locked state thereof, such that the material vehicle can change the positions of driving wheels, and bidirectional traveling can be realized without needing to turn the material vehicle around.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SHIFTING TRAILERS
20230312029 · 2023-10-05 ·

The disclosure is directed at an apparatus and method for shifting or moving trailers. In one aspect, the apparatus is a converter dolly with at least one set of powered wheels, which can be equipped with a remote control steering device. In another aspect, the apparatus is a remotely controlled terminal tractor configured to be coupled to a trailer. In some aspects, the remote control of the apparatus is directed by an autonomous algorithm resident remotely or on the apparatus itself. In another aspect, a frame of an apparatus for towing a trailer includes an articulated frame with a first frame counterpart pivotably connected to a second frame counterpart.

RUBBER-TIRED TRAIN, AND CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A rubber-tired train, and a control method and system thereof are disclosed. The train comprises multiple cars connected in series in turn, the cars include a relatively front car and a relatively rear car, and the front car is able to rotate in a horizontal plane relative to the rear car. The method comprises: acquiring a turning angle of a front car at a target position; determining a turning angle of a rear car at the target position according to the turning angle of the front car; and when it is determined that the rear car reaches the target position, controlling the rear car to steer according to the determined turning angle of the rear car. The rear car can follow the front car to steer, each car of the rubber-tired train can be controlled to steer accurately, allowing the rubber-tired train to run accurately along a preset running plan.

Method for controlling an industrial truck as well as a system comprising a superordinate control unit and an industrial truck

A method for controlling at least one industrial truck comprising determining a driving job using a superordinate control unit and sending the driving job from the superordinate control unit to a transceiver of the at least one industrial truck. The driving job is transmitted from the transceiver to a vehicle controller. A position of the at least one industrial truck within a previously known route to be driven is determined via the superordinate control unit. An upcoming driving situation is identified using the superordinate control unit and is based on the position of the at least one industrial truck and the driving job. A protective field is generated with a collision protection apparatus, wherein the protective field is monitored by the at least one industrial truck based on the upcoming driving situation even before the at least one industrial truck reaches the driving situation.
