SAFE TWO-WHEELED SELF-BALANCING VEHICLE
20190009854 · 2019-01-10 ·

A safe two-wheeled self-balancing vehicle includes two power wheels, a motion sensor, a control circuit, a chassis structure, a direction control input device, and a power source is provided. The power wheels are installed at two sides of the chassis structure. The motion sensor is connected to the control circuit and fixed to the chassis structure opposite thereto. The direction control input device is connected to the control circuit. The control circuit drives the power wheels. A protection wheel support disposed at a front side or both the front side and a rear side of the chassis structure. A floating protection wheel is installed at a front end of the protection wheel support. The manner in which the protection wheel support is connected with the chassis structure or a structure of the protection wheel support itself enables the floating protection wheel move freely in a vertical direction with respect to the chassis structure.

Balance training device and balance training method

A balance training device includes an inverted two-wheel vehicle, a posture detection unit that detects a posture of the inverted two-wheel vehicle, a control unit that enables control of the inverted two-wheel vehicle so that the inverted two-wheel vehicle moves according to the posture of the inverted two-wheel vehicle detected by the posture detection unit and control of the inverted two-wheel vehicle so that the inverted two-wheel vehicle is forcibly moved in an arbitrary direction irrespective of the posture of the inverted two-wheel vehicle, and a position determining unit that determines a position of the inverted two-wheel vehicle. When a distance between the obtained position of the inverted two-wheel vehicle and the reference position is greater than or equal to a threshold, the control unit suppresses the control to forcibly move the inverted two-wheel vehicle in a direction from a reference position to the position of the inverted two-wheel vehicle.

This invention addresses the problem of providing a bicycle stand that allows a rider to pedal independently from balancing when practicing riding a bicycle. As a solution, a bicycle stand comprises a support member having at least a pair of side wall portions, and a pair of shaft support members having shaft support parts supporting the ends of a shaft 103 of a wheel of a bicycle and support member engagement parts that engage upper edge portions of the side wall portions. Part of a package in which the bicycle was packed can be used as the support member.

VEHICLE HAVING A SWIVEL WHEEL

A tricycle may be operable between a first mode of operation steerable by a tricycle rider, and a second mode of operation steerable by an individual pushing the tricycle. A rider handle, in the first mode, may be configured to be rotationally coupled with the stem in a manner permitting a tricycle rider to exert forces on the rider handle and thereby turn the fork, and the rider handle in the second mode, being configured to be rotationally uncoupled from the stem, preventing forces on the rider handle from turning the fork. At least one rotation restricted may be included for preventing the front wheel from turning to a position where the front wheel axis leads the fork axis, and for maintaining the front wheel axis in a position trailing the fork axis both when the tricycle is propelled by a tricycle rider in the first mode and when the tricycle is pushed from behind in the second mode.
