DUAL STEERABLE VEHICLE
A tricycle may be operable between a first mode of operation steerable by a tricycle rider, and a second mode of operation steerable by an individual pushing the tricycle. In both such first and second modes, the frame of the tricycle is configured to rotatably support the rear wheels and configured to support the head tube at a distance from the rear wheels such that a distance between the head tube and rear wheels need not necessarily be changed even when the front wheel axis location is changed from one mode to another.
Balance bike conversion systems
A balance bike conversion system may include first and second protective inserts, each having an interface adapted to engage opposite ends of a bicycle bottom bracket. A connector may be adapted to connect the first and second protective inserts, and may be adapted to adjust the distance between the inserts, thereby accommodating variability in the width of the bottom bracket. The system may further include adapters to enable the system to be used with bicycles having bottom brackets with different diameters, and may use an elastomeric gasket to accommodate larger bottom brackets. The protective inserts and/or adapters may provide mechanical support to the bottom bracket, thereby protecting it from damage.

A PERSONAL TRANSPORTER
The present invention relates to a personal transporter. The transporter includes a support for supporting a driver. Three or more ground engaging devices are provided for engaging the ground during transport. An electric drive is provided for driving at least one of the ground engaging devices to propel the transporter. A handle bar is provided for enabling the driver to control at least one of the ground engaging devices to steer the transporter. Advantageously, three or more ground engaging devices provide improved stability and may carry greater loads when compared with the two wheels of a Segway.
APPARATUS FOR RETAINING A BICYCLE
A bike balance trainer apparatus for training a rider to balance on a single wheel of a bicycle and including a mount for a service stand and an attachment to allow it to act as a bike stand or storage apparatus is provided. The apparatus may have a base support member and a tire retention member movably connected to the base support member about a first pivot.

Scooter assembly with auto-balancing drive wheel
A scooter front end and a scooter device incorporating the front end. The front end may be releasably coupled to an auto-balancing drive wheel unit such as a Solowheel or Iota device. The scooter front end may serve as a training aid, or allow faster speeds or the carrying of goods, etc. The front end may include an ascending control structure that is used to steer the device. A support frame may extend rearwardly from a steerable wheel and provide a mechanism for releasable coupling to the auto-balancing drive wheel unit. Various embodiments for the scooter front end and drive wheel units are disclosed.

Gyro-stabilizer for a two-wheeled single-track vehicle
A gyro-stabilizer for a two-wheeled single-track vehicle, preferably a motorcycle, applicable in several driving modes, is configured in the form of a gyroscope in a gimbal mount, an outer ring of which is connected by a two-way axial pivot joint to the vehicle frame, wherein the axis of said joint is oriented along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle; an inner ring of the gimbal mount is connected by a two-way axial pivot joint to the outer ring; and a spin axis of the gyroscope is connected by a two-way axial pivot joint to the inner ring, wherein the axes of all three pivot joints are mutually perpendicular, and wherein the gyro-stabilizer has a means for locking rotation of the outer ring about the axis of the pivot joint between said outer ring and the frame of the vehicle. The gyro-stabilizer is disposed on the rear wheel swingarm and has a means for locking rotation of the inner ring about the axis of the pivot joint between the inner ring and the outer ring.
