A human-powered vehicle system and a control method are provided that reduce power consumption of a detection device. The human-powered vehicle system includes an electronic controller having at least one processor configured to control a detection device provided at a human-powered vehicle to detect an electromagnetic wave having a frequency that is greater than or equal to 30 GHz and excluding visible light. The at least one processor is configured to control the detection device in at least one of a first mode and a second mode that consumes less power than the first mode.
Notification system
A notification system notifies brake-related information related to braking of a rotation body of a human-powered vehicle. The notification system includes a notification unit that includes a notification device configured to notify a user of the brake-related information. The notification device is provided on at least one of a brake device braking the rotation body, an operation device operating the brake device, and a display device.
Smart bicycle wheel sensor system
A bicycle wheel sensor is provided and includes a housing configured to be at least partially disposed within a tire of a bicycle wheel. The sensor may be mounted opposite a valve stem location to help balance the bicycle wheel. The bicycle wheel sensor has one or more sensors exposed to the inside of the tire and is configured to provide data obtained from within the tire. The sensor includes an electronic control unit that receives the data from the sensors and transmits the data to a user device via a transceiver.

A method for providing a spatially perceptible acoustic signal for a rider of a two-wheeled vehicle, including: providing an acoustic signal by a two-wheeled vehicle; determining the position of a helmet worn by the rider of the two-wheeled vehicle relative to the two-wheeled vehicle; processing the acoustic signal depending on the determined position to provide a three-dimensional output signal which constitutes a binaural projection of the acoustic signal; and outputting the output signal via a stereo headset of the helmet, wherein the output signal spatially positions a sound source contained in the acoustic signal depending on the determined position, whereby the sound source is spatially locatable by the rider of the two-wheeled vehicle.

STRADDLE TYPE VEHICLE
A straddle type vehicle comprises: a detection unit configured to detect a situation of a detection area on one of a rear side and a lateral side of a self-vehicle; a distance determination unit configured to determine a change in a relative distance between the self-vehicle and another vehicle detected in the detection area and a notification control unit configured to make a notification to a driver based on one of a detection result of the detection unit and a determination result of the distance determination unit. The notification control unit makes the notification by first notification output if the other vehicle is detected in the detection area by the detection unit, and makes the notification by second notification output if it is determined by the distance determination unit that the relative distance to the other vehicle has become short.
Method and Apparatus for Personal Transportation Vehicle Locator
A finding system for locating a bicycle, e-bike, scooter or other personal transportation vehicle within localized area. The system comprises a handheld radio transmitter which, when actuated by a user, sends a signal to a receiver unit affixed to the vehicle. Upon receiving the signal, an alert output device coupled to the receiver unit will emit a beacon signal permitting the user to find the vehicle. The beacon signal may be an audible signal (a bell, beep, chirp, buzz, tone, whistle, horn or siren) and/or a visual signal (such as flashing LED lights or a flashing taillight or headlight).
