Provided is an inverted pendulum vehicle including a display unit for providing a guide on an operation for putting the vehicle body into the tilted position from the upright position or into the upright position from the tilted position according to a state of the vehicle. In particular, the display unit indicates a direction in which the vehicle body is required to be moved when placing the vehicle body from the tilted position to the upright position and from the upright position to the tilted position.

Rechargeable bicycle light system

A bicycle tail light or front light has a mounting base to connect to the bicycle, and an LED light unit for insertion into and removal from the base. The light unit includes a printed circuit board with LED driver and a rechargeable battery, all of which are encapsulated by a direct overmolding that forms a casing for the unit. For charging the light unit is pulled out from the base and plugged into a USB port. A tongue with USB blade at the back of the light unit functions to secure the light unit to the mounting base, and the attachment of the units switches power to the light unit. A motion detector on the PCB shuts off the LED if no motion is detected for several minutes, thus eliminating need for any exterior switch.

Bottle light

A bottle light that is stored within a cap that threads onto a standard bicycle type water bottle. One set of LED lights within the cap point in a horizontal direction and can act as a lantern. Another LED light or set of LED lights point downward to illuminate the contents of the bottle. An on-off switch can be consecutively pushed to allow the user to choose between lantern mode or bottle lighting mode or both at once. Additionally, a microprocessor contained within the cap allows the user to choose to illuminate the contents of the bottle in white light, colored light or a cycling display of colored light. A rotatable handle on the outside of the cap allows a person to carry the device as a lantern.

Bicycle safety exclusion zone systems
10124847 · 2018-11-13 · ·

Bicycle safety exclusion zone systems capable of being attached to a bicycle, comprised of one or more projector-sensor devices and a processing unit. Each projector-sensor device is capable of detecting vehicles in proximity of the bicycle and of projecting at least a portion of a visual safety exclusion zone upon ground surrounding the bicycle. The processing unit is in communication with the one or more projector-sensor devices. When one of the projector-sensor devices detects a vehicle in proximity to the bicycle, the processing unit generates an alert detectable by a user of the bicycle, and the one or more projector-sensor devices change the visual appearance of the visual safety exclusion zone. In some embodiments, the change in the visual appearance of the safety exclusion zone comprises a change of color.

Method and device for prompting bicycle gear shifting
10119612 · 2018-11-06 · ·

A method for prompting bicycle gear shifting includes collecting cycling data of a user during cycling, comparing the collected cycling data with cycling data samples in a preset gear shifting strategy library including correspondence relationships between preset gear shifting strategies and the cycling data samples, and when the collected cycling data matches one of the cycling data samples in the gear shifting strategy library, outputting the gear shifting strategy corresponding to the cycling data sample to the user.

Removable Battery Powered Motorcycle Headlight And Lighting Kit With Same
20180312208 · 2018-11-01 ·

A motorcycle lighting system including a headlamp adapted to be easily mounted upon, and easily removed from, a motorcycle without a headlamp, such as a motocross motorcycle. The headlamp is battery powered and may have removable batteries to allow for substitution during or between rides. The headlamp is mounted with resilient material to enhance vibration resistance. A lighting kit may include handlebar mounted pointable lights also coupled to the headlamp battery.

SMART LIGHTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20180317301 · 2018-11-01 ·

A smart lighting system for a vehicle is described. The smart lighting system includes at least one signal generator, and a lighting stem assembly. The lighting stem assembly further includes a signal receiver; a light control PCB module, and at least one light source. The at least one light source may be a rotatable lighting source, and the left indicator light and the right indictor light. Upon receiving signal by the signal receiver from a signal generator, the light control PCB module controls the operation of the rotatable lighting source, and the left indicator light and the right indictor light. The signal generator may generate the signal based on detection of gesture by a motion sensor mounted on a helmet of a rider.

Versatile bicycle light mounting system

A mounting system for a bicycle light, camera, bike computer, smartphone or other device has versatile application to front or rear of the bike, to fix the light or device in position at the desired orientation. The mounting system has a ball arm engaged by adjustable clamps, one on each of two ball ends of the ball arm, providing a wide range of adjustments to attach the light housing or device to different configurations of bicycle stems and to seat rails below the seat, accommodating a range of different spacings and angles.

CYCLING GARMENT WITH TURN INDICATING SYSTEM

A garment for cycling, having indicating lights associated with sleeves of the garment; first and second accelerometers provided on respective sleeves; and a controller configured to receive data from the accelerometers and determine from the date whether a wearer of the garment has raised an arm to indicate a maneuver. The controller is further configured to illuminate the appropriate indicating light depending on which arm has been raised, and to compare the data from the first and second accelerometers to filter out movements common to both the first and second accelerometers and determine when the sleeves are being moved independently of one another in a manner to indicate a turn.

DEVICE FOR SIGNALING DIRECTION
20180300993 · 2018-10-18 ·

The device for signalling direction comprises a support (2) predisposed to be worn by a user and carrying at least a first direction light source (50) and a second direction light source (50), each indicating a respective rotation direction of said wearable support (2). At least one sensor element is associated with the support (2) to measure at least a value of the acceleration and/or a value of the angular speed assumed by the wearable support (2).
