Sports hydration apparatus
In accordance with one aspect, there is provided a sports hydration apparatus configured for utilisation with a particular type of existing fluid reservoir bladder. As such, there is provided sports hydration apparatus comprising: electric componentry housing; an annulus rotatably coupled to the housing, the annulus defining peripheral exterior threading for engaging a threaded opening of a fluid containing bladder such that, in use, the annulus is able to rotate with respect to the housing to screwably engage the threaded opening and wherein the housing and the annulus cooperate to seal the threaded opening when the annulus is screwed in; hydration hosing transitioning through the housing in a fluidtight manner, the hosing comprising an interior inlet hose portion which reaches within the bladder for drawing fluid therefrom and an exterior outlet hose; a mouthpiece and wherein the exterior outlet hose reaches the mouthpiece; an electric pump operably coupled to the hydration hosing to pump the fluid through the hydration hosing; and wherein the housing houses electric componentry comprising: a wireless receiver operably coupled to the electric pump, the wireless receiver configured for receiving wireless control instructions from a dispensing controller device to selectively operate the electric pump. Other aspects of sports hydration apparatuses are also provided.
Method for fixing a travel container for motor vehicles to a motor vehicle, travel container for motor vehicles and mounting kit thereof
A method for fixing a travel container to a motor vehicle includes arranging a vehicle with at least one back seat fixed to a frame of the vehicle. The seat includes a lower plate securable to a frame portion of the vehicle and a seat portion, opposite to the lower plate, is suitable as a user/passenger seat. A travel container has a container body, defining a storage compartment. A fixing plate associated with the container body includes a mount for the travel container. The travel container fixing plate is interchangeable with the lower plate of the seat. The seat is removed to provide access to an under-seat compartment and to the frame portion supporting the seat. The travel container is fixed to the vehicle to fix the fixing plate of the travel container to the frame portion supporting the seat. The travel container is arranged to replace the seat.
THREE-WHEELED TILTING VEHICLE
A tiltable vehicle is configured to transform between an autonomous mode and a rideable mode by pivoting the handlebars and steering column of the vehicle about a pitch axis. In the autonomous mode, the steering column is folded back toward the chassis and a tiltable chassis of the vehicle is prevented from tilting. In the rideable mode, the steering column is unfolded and the chassis is free to tilt. In some examples, a tiltable vehicle includes features beneficial for vehicle-sharing, such as parking devices or a basket. These features may be included on any suitable vehicle and are not limited to use on transforming vehicles.
Pannier mount
A pannier mount assembly for attachment to a motorcycle frame comprises a first member attachable to the frame, the first member comprising a first pannier fixture point. The pannier mount assembly also comprises a second member comprising an elongate arm pivotably attached to the first member and comprising a second pannier fixture point. The second member has a free end. The second member is configured to pivot from a stored position where the free end is substantially adjacent to the first member to a deployed position where the free end is rotated away from the first member thereby increasing the separation between the first and second pannier fixture points.
Bicycle water bottle phone holder
A bicycle water bottle phone holder designed for a conventional bicycle cup holder on a frame of the bicycle. The bicycle phone holder includes a rigid frame and a flexible cover to allow cavitation and bulging of a volume thereof. The bicycle phone holder also includes at least one longitudinal flanging portion to receive a tabular personal digital assistant (PDA) device inside the elongate cup. The bicycle phone holder additionally includes a retaining wall and a cylindrical portion to receive one of a water bottle and personal effects inside the holder. An edge piping adjacent the flexible cover and the frame at an outside or inside the edges and features of the holder secure the two thereto. A funnel like design secures a cell phone above a cavity at the bottom of the holder, the cavity able to receive headphones, coins, tokens, jewelry, keys, wallets and purses.
Pannier system
The application discloses a blank configured to be mounted on a bicycle rack. The blank includes a bottom section that forms an item supporting surface when the blank is folded into a folded pannier configuration. The blank includes a lateral face section hingedly connected with the bottom section at a first fold line. The blank includes a central, vertical axis extending between proximal and distal ends of the blank. The blank is adapted to be folded from an unfolded blank configuration into a folded pannier configuration. In the unfolded blank configuration, opposing sides of the blank relative to the central, vertical axis are asymmetrical.
Apparatus with high security for bicycle
An apparatus, which is connected to a bicycle, includes a case having a chamber, a main device received in the chamber of the case, a locking member connected to the main device, a lid connected to the case to seal the chamber, wherein the lid has a bore and the bore is received in the chamber of the case, and a transceiver received in the chamber of the case and electrically connected to the locking member, wherein the transceiver receives a signal to control the locking member accordingly. The apparatus can be opened by the outside signal transmitted to the transceiver only.
TISSUE HOLDER FOR BICYCLE
A tissue holder for a bicycle includes a hollow body in which a tissue package is placed. A center opening or side opening in the body provides access to the tissue package such that tissues can be removed individually without removing the secured tissue package from the tissue holder. The hollow body may have an open end via which the tissue package is inserted into the hollow body and a closed end having an aerodynamic shape. Restraining projections help to secure the tissue package inside the body. A contoured mounting adapter and adjustable means of attachment enable the tissue holder to be configured for various sizes and types of bicycles and bicycle tubes.
