SADDLE TYPE ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A saddle type electric vehicle (1) includes a charging cord (245) that is connectable to an external power supply, a cord accommodating section (230) configured to accommodate a charging cord (245), and a vehicle body cover (5) on which a cord accommodating section (230) provided, a vehicle body cover (5) includes a cover inclined surface (CS) inclined with respect to a ground plane, the cover inclined surface (CS) includes an inclined surface upper section (CS1) located on an upper section of the cover inclined surface (CS), and in the cord accommodating section (230), a cord drawing section (236) disposed in the vicinity of the inclined surface upper section (CS1) and configured to draw the charging cord (245) into the cord accommodating section (230) and an accommodating space (230s) configured to accommodate the charging cord (245) drawn from the cord drawing section (236) from the vicinity of the inclined surface upper section (CS1) to a lower section of the cord accommodating section (230) are provided.
Structure of electric vehicle
An electric vehicle includes a frame unit and a vehicle body cover unit. The frame unit includes tread tubes extending toward a rear side and arranged pairwise as a left tread tube and a right tread tube. The vehicle body cover unit includes a tread board that shields the left tread tube and the right tread tube. The frame unit is provided with a battery box that receives and holds therein a battery and the frame unit is provided thereon with a side stand. The electric vehicle is provided with an electric connection mechanism on the vehicle body at one side thereof opposite to the side stand for replenishing the battery with external electric power so that a drawback that the electric vehicle tips over when replenishment of electric power is being made to the battery is prevented to thereby improve utilization of the electric vehicle.
VEHICLE FRAME
A vehicle frame includes a frame body that includes a front wheel connecting member, a rear wheel connecting member, and a backbone member interconnecting the front and rear wheel connecting members and having a plurality of backbone sections interconnected to each other, and a coupling device that includes a plurality of first coupling members, each of which is mounted to a corresponding one of the backbone sections and is operable to switch between a mobile state and a stationary state. Each of the first coupling members is movable along the corresponding one of the backbone sections in the mobile state, and is immobilized relative to the corresponding one of the backbone sections in the stationary state.
ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE
An all-terrain vehicle has an air ventilation system positioned adjacent a rearmost point of the front ground engaging members and directing air rearwardly through an engine compartment, wherein the air ventilation system includes at least one air scoop adjacent a front of the vehicle for directing the air. In addition, an ATV is disclosed having a rear rack having an integral storage bin, where the storage bin is one piece with the rear rack. The storage bin is sealed.
Straddle type vehicle and rear fender
A straddle type vehicle includes a body frame, and a rear fender attached to the body frame. The rear fender has a fitting portion fitted to a fitted portion of the body frame to be held by the body frame, and a fixing portion fixed to the body frame by a fixing member in a fitted state in which the fitting portion is fitted to the fitted portion.
DRAG-REDUCING SHAFT TAILFIN FOR VEHICLES
An aerodynamic tailfin rotatably attached to a shaft-shaped member disposed on a vehicle. The tailfin swivels about the round shaft-shaped member for reduced drag in response to winds varying in direction impinging thereon.
Cladding assembly for a motor vehicle
A cladding assembly for a motor vehicle, in particular for a motorcycle or a motorcycle-like motor vehicle, has at least two flat cladding elements. The first cladding element has a first exterior, and the second cladding element has a second exterior which form at least one part of an outer cladding of the motor vehicle in the assembled state and which are arranged adjacently and are separated from each other by a joint. The first cladding element has a transition section which is angled by a first angle relative to the first exterior and at least one first end of the first cladding element extends below the second cladding element. The second cladding element has a bevel which is formed parallel to the transition section at a second end facing the transition section.
AUGMENTED TIRE TRACTION SYSTEM FOR TWO-WHEELED VEHICLE
An augmented traction system for a two-wheeled vehicle comprising a CMG (control moment gyroscope) system including a plurality of CMGs to provide a first torque vector to decrease a roll angle of a turn of the vehicle and to increase force on one or more of the tires of the vehicle on a road surface, a steering system for the vehicle, the steering system to determine a steering control for the turn of the vehicle at a particular vehicle speed and roll angle, based on sensor data, and an aerodynamic control system to actuate one or more aerodynamic elements of the vehicle, the one or more aerodynamic elements to provide a second torque vector to decrease the roll angle of the vehicle.
Saddle-riding vehicle
A saddle-riding vehicle include a body frame, an engine which is supported on the body frame, an exhaust pipe which extends rearward from a front portion of the engine 41, a fuel tank which is disposed on a side of the engine 41, a skid guard which covers the engine and the exhaust pipe from fronts thereof, and a side guard which covers a side portion of the fuel tank. The skid guard and the side guard are disposed to have an overlap portion where the skid guard and the side guard overlap partially. Therefore, the saddle-riding vehicle prevents mud or stone from entering an inside of a guard member, and prevents a fuel tank from being exposed through a gap to eliminate a deterioration of an external design of the saddle-riding vehicle.
