PERSONAL MOBILITY DEVICE
Disclosed is a personal mobility device including a towing module configured to allow various types of towed modules to be selectively connected and towed, and a connection device configured to connect the towing module and the towed modules. The connection device includes a connection member extending rearward from the towing module, a connection shaft having an upper side rotatably supported on the connection member and a lower side coupled to a shaft coupling hole formed on a connection frame of the towed module, and a locking device provided on the connection frame to lock the connection shaft.
ELECTRIC KICKBOARD AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
An electric kickboard may include: a top plate of a foot plate including a receiving portion in which an electronic lock device for fixing the electric kickboard is installed; and a bottom plate of the foot plate, which is assembled to the top plate of the foot plate and fixes the electronic lock device
PERSONAL MOBILITY AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A personal mobility and a control method thereof may include a main body, a steering shaft rotatably coupled to the main body, a steering limiting device configured to limit rotation of the steering shaft, a posture sensor provided to detect a change in posture of the main body, and a controller configured to selectively generate a control signal to control an operation of the steering limiting device to limit the rotation of the steering shaft when the controller determines that the posture of the main body changes at a speed exceeding a predetermined speed.
Creating easy-to-understand indications of a vehicle state
Presented here is a system and method for creating easy-to-understand notifications of the vehicle state. The notification can be visual or can be auditory and can indicate to the user the vehicle state even when the user's attention is directed elsewhere. The indication can serve to attract the user's attention before more involved information is presented to the user, such as text, or the indication can serve to communicate to the user the vehicle state in an easy-to-understand way such as using color-coded displays or audio indications. The intensity of the indication can be adjusted based on the likelihood that indication will be perceived by the user by, for example, measuring ambient light and/or ambient noise. Reducing the intensity of the indication conserves energy of an energy source associated with the vehicle.
MOTORIZED SCOOTER WITH GEAR SYSTEM TRANSMISSION
A scooter includes a frame which has a footboard and supports a rear wheel, a steering column provided with a front wheel pivotably mounted on the frame, and a motor provided with a drive shaft coupled to the rear wheel via a transmission system. The transmission system includes a rear transverse shaft having a first end portion and a second end portion rotatably coupled to the rear wheel; —a gear system having a sprocket coupled rotatably to the first end portion and in meshing engagement with a toothed gear rotatably coupled to the drive shaft; and—a rear structure attached to the frame, supporting the gear system and the rear transverse shaft, and extending laterally along one side only—right or left—of the rear wheel, such that the second end portion extends from the rear structure to support the rear wheel in a cantilevered fashion.
Personal mobility vehicle
A personal mobility vehicle comprising a control unit for controlling a steering function of the vehicle, wherein the control unit is adapted to receive route information from a personal smart device and to control the vehicle at least semi-autonomously based on the route information.
MOTORIZED KICK SCOOTER
A motorized kick scooter having a foot platform arrangement comprising two foot platforms that each have a length no greater than 600 mm, and support a user on a foot platform surface, for which a distance between the ground surface and itself is less than a diameter of a rear wheel. The foot platforms are also positioned to partly overlap the rear wheel and so that a fore end of each foot platform is positioned between a front wheel and the rear wheel and to be positioned either equidistant between the front and rear wheels or more proximate to the rear wheel. The two foot platforms are positioned either side of the rear wheel.
Braking device for a personal mobility vehicle
A personal mobility vehicle, such as a scooter, includes at least one battery and motor for powering at least one driven wheel. The vehicle also includes a braking assembly configured to isolate the motor from the at least one driven wheel such that power is terminated from the motor to the at least one wheel in response to a user engaging a braking assembly of the vehicle. The vehicle can include a switch or position sensor that interacts with the braking assembly to initiate the isolation of the motor from the at least one driven wheel and the switch or position sensor preferably is inaccessible to the foot of the user.
Chassis for small electrical vehicles
A running gear for small electrical vehicles provides the possibility of inclining and of steering the vehicle and of damping bumps in the carriageway, the chassis comprising a frame connection to the vehicle frame, a rigid or damped rocker beam assembly, a central bolt, a flexible transverse link plate, two uprights for keeping hold of the two front wheels, and two steering rods which each connect one of the two uprights to the steering device. The area of use comprises multi-wheeled small vehicles.
Enclosure assembly for vehicle, method of mounting, and vehicle including the enclosure assembly
Aspects concern an enclosure assembly for mounting on a tube of a vehicle, methods of mounting the assembly on a vehicle, and a vehicle including the assembly. The assembly comprises a clamping portion comprising a concave portion for at least partially surrounding the tube and a flange portion at one end of the concave portion; a holding support plate including a first side for facing the tube and a second side opposite thereto, the first side configured to be attached to the flange portion by a fastening means solely operable from the second side of the holding support plate at a position of operability; a housing comprising a cavity for receiving an electronic circuit and a lower portion to be attached to the second side of the holding support plate. The housing overlaps said position of operability.
