A steering device includes a handle unit; a steering connection piece; a joint connecting the handle unit to the steering connection piece; a steering connection rod movably connected to the steering connection piece; and a pair of steering rods each rotatably connected to the steering connection rod. In response to a rotation of the handle unit about a first rotational axis, the joint is configured to force the steering connection piece to rotate along with the handle unit about the first rotational axis to cause a shift of the steering connection rod along a first direction perpendicular to the first rotational axis, and the pair of steering rods is configured to rotate about second and third rotational axes, respectively, in response to the shift of the steering connection rod.

LOCKABLE STEERING MECHANISM FOR RIDE-ON VEHICLE
20210107553 · 2021-04-15 ·

A lockable steering mechanism for a children's ride-on vehicle is provided. The steering mechanism has a steering shaft coupled to a steering link that is coupled to the vehicle's front wheels. A steering wheel is axially fixed to the steering shaft. A lifter guide is rotationally and axially fixed to the steering shaft, and a lifter is rotationally fixed to and axially moveable about the lifter guide. A rotatable locking ring rotates from a first position to a second position. The lifter engages the steering wheel when the locking ring is in the first position to rotationally fix the steering wheel to the steering shaft. The lifter is rotationally decoupled from the steering wheel when the locking ring is in a second position to rotationally decouple the steering wheel from the steering shaft.

CHAINLESS BICYCLE FOR CHILD
20210129942 · 2021-05-06 ·

A chainless bicycle for child includes a frame and a power gearing device. The frame has a seat tube between the front wheel and the rear wheel, with a passive gear axially disposed on a hub of the rear wheel. The power gearing device is disposed on the frame between the seat tube and the rear wheel. The power gearing device includes an active gear and a transmission gear meshed with the active gear. The transmission gear is meshed between the active gear and the passive gear. The power gearing device further includes a crank set disposed on two sides of the active gear for driving the active gear to rotate. Therefore, the passive gear is driven through the transmission gear to rotate in an identical direction with the active gear. Thus, the meshing structure of the present invention improves the safety of children.

A ride-along vehicle may include both handles and foot rests each capable of providing power to the pump arm. An improved pumper arm and steering mechanism may include a pivot joint that is provided by rods, pins, or bolts attached to opposite sides of the pumper arm. The universal joint between the steering arm and the pumper arm can be aligned with the center of the pivot point to prevent rocking of the steering arm as the pumper arm is actuated.

BICYCLE WITH COLLAPSIBLE HANDLE BARS
20210086863 · 2021-03-25 ·

A bicycle has a bicycle frame, two handle bars, and a clamping assembly. The bicycle frame has a front fork having a steerer tube mounted within a head tube of the bicycle frame and a handle mount fastened to the steerer tube and having two receiving tubes longitudinally disposed at two sides of the head tube, respectively. The two handle bars are rotatably mounted to the two receiving tubes, respectively, and each handle bar has a first section inserted inside a corresponding one of the two receiving tubes and a second section integrally fixed to the first section. The clamping assembly has two clamping units respectively mounted around the two receiving tubes and an operating unit connected to the two clamping units and being configured to abut the two clamping units for respectively clamping the two receiving tubes.

A ride-on vehicle, such as for a child, includes a vehicle body and one or more wheels that support the vehicle body relative to a surface. At least one of the wheels includes a hub motor arrangement that provides a drive torque for propelling the vehicle. The hub motor arrangement includes a housing defining an interior space. An axle or other mounting element(s) define an axis of rotation of the housing. Preferably, the axle or other mounting element(s) do not pass completely through the housing. A motor drives the housing through a transmission. Preferably, the motor is a standard, compact motor that is positioned on the axis of rotation and can be laterally offset from a central plane of the housing. In some embodiments, a traction element is carried directly by the housing.
