20200391127 · 2020-12-17 ·

A leg actuator mechanism, a method of manufacturing the leg actuator mechanism, and a doll implementing a leg actuator mechanism is provided. The leg actuator includes an upper leg mechanism comprising a hip end and an opposing knee end. The leg actuator also includes a lower leg mechanism comprising a first end and an opposing second end, wherein the first end of the lower leg portion is operably coupled to the knee end of the upper leg portion. The leg actuator further includes a follower mechanism. The follower mechanism includes a mounting defining a follower pathway configured to receive a follower joint. The follower mechanism also includes an upper follower connector and a lower follower connector. The follower mechanism moves at least one of the upper leg mechanism or the lower leg mechanism when activated.

Balance bike conversion systems

A balance bike conversion system may include first and second protective inserts, each having an interface adapted to engage opposite ends of a bicycle bottom bracket. A connector may be adapted to connect the first and second protective inserts, and may be adapted to adjust the distance between the inserts, thereby accommodating variability in the width of the bottom bracket. The system may further include adapters to enable the system to be used with bicycles having bottom brackets with different diameters, and may use an elastomeric gasket to accommodate larger bottom brackets. The protective inserts and/or adapters may provide mechanical support to the bottom bracket, thereby protecting it from damage.

Pump-action ride-along vehicle

A ride-along vehicle may include a guard that attaches to a bottom portion of a molded plastic body and covers a spring and chain assembly. The guard may also provide an attachment point for the spring through a hole in the guard. The guard may have a narrow portion that covers and helps retain the chain on a sprocket as well as a wider portion that covers the spring. An improved pumper arm and steering mechanism may include a pivot joint that is provided by rods, pins, or bolts attached to opposite sides of the pumper arm. The universal joint between the steering arm and the pumper arm can be aligned with the center of the pivot point to prevent rocking of the steering arm as the pumper arm is actuated.

CONVERTIBLE MOTORIZED RUNNING CYCLE

POWERED WHEELED RIDING DEVICE
20200331554 · 2020-10-22 ·

A powered wheeled riding device is configured to receive left and right foot inputs from a user and in response control a left motor and a right motor to move respective left and right wheels forwardly and backwardly consistent with the left and right foot inputs in order to steer the device without changing a direction of the wheels relative to a frame of the riding device. The riding device has at least one rear wheel that is not powered. The rear wheel is mounted on a wheel mount that rotates freely about a vertical axis so that the rear wheel freely is directed in any direction.

AMPHIBIOUS VEHICLE

A sit-astride amphibious vehicle configuration which supports a high performance envelope both on land as well as in water. The vehicle has a planing hull and four retractable wheels. Handlebars provide for directional control in both modes of operation. Each road wheel is retractable by pivoting through at least 45 so as to maximize ground clearance when in the land mode of operation and to minimize drag at substantial lean angles when in the marine mode of operation. While a jet drive may remain directly connected to the engine at all times, the driven wheels are only connected during land mode via a speed-change transmission. The entire power train is supported by a frame that is separable from the hull which in turn has a detachable top deck portion, whereby such configuration simplifies the construction, repair and servicing of the vehicle.
