Straddle vehicle

A straddle vehicle comprises an axle; an external member which is externally fittable to the axle; and a fastening member fastened to the axle to prevent disengagement of the external member. The axle includes an outer tube member to which the external member is externally fittable, and an inner shaft member which is inserted into the outer tube member and is longer in an axial direction of the axle than the outer tube member. The inner shaft member includes a shaft part which is internally fittable to the outer tube member, a male thread part formed in an outer peripheral surface of a first end portion of the shaft part, and a retaining part protruding radially outward from a second end portion of the shaft part, the retaining part being configured to retain an axial tension of the inner shaft member generated by fastening the fastening member to the axle.

Vehicle having a suspension assembly including a swing arm

A vehicle includes a frame; two front ground-engaging members connected to the frame; a rear ground-engaging member connected to the frame; an engine supported by the frame; a powertrain operatively connecting the engine to the rear ground-engaging member; a seat connected to the frame; an exhaust system connected to the engine and supported by the frame; a swing arm operatively connecting the rear ground-engaging member to the frame; and a rear suspension operatively connected between the swing arm and the frame. The seat is positioned at least partially above the swing arm. The exhaust system is positioned at least partially below the swing arm. Each of the rear suspension and the powertrain is at least partially concealed by the swing arm from at least two of a top, a left side or a right side of the vehicle.

A position adjusting arrangement for use in a vehicle includes a seat for supporting a rider, a rear wheel and a front wheel, a steering arrangement including a handle bar for allowing the rider to control the steerable wheel, and a hub for interconnecting the components of the wheeled vehicle. The position adjusting arrangement includes an adjustable seat support arrangement movably connected to the hub, an adjustable handle bar support arrangement movably connected to the hub, and a releasable position locking arrangement configured to lock the position of the components of the vehicle relative to the hub. The hub may include a first portion and second portion, wherein the first and second portions are moveably connected to one another, such as by pivoting, sliding, or a combination of pivoting and sliding.

A TRIKE TILTING AXLE ASSEMBLY

A trike tilting axle assembly has a steering post turning an upper axle assembly. A lower axle assembly is coupled beneath the upper axle assembly by cross linkages which create a virtual pivot point for the upper axle assembly and the steering post. Tilting linkage assemblies are pivotally coupled at lower ends thereof from opposite sides of the lower axle assembly and engage respective wheel axles at upper end thereof, each of which holds a respective wheel. Control arms connect the upper axle assembly to respective upper ends of the tilting linkage assemblies. As the assembly tilts and the upper axle assembly moves sideways with respect to the lower axle assembly, the control arms push or pull the respective tilting linkage assemblies such that the wheels lean over in the same direction as the steering post whilst the assembly mimics the geometry and feel of an existing bicycle.
