Balance bike conversion systems
A balance bike conversion system may include first and second protective inserts, each having an interface adapted to engage opposite ends of a bicycle bottom bracket. A connector may be adapted to connect the first and second protective inserts, thereby securing the inserts to the bottom bracket. The connector may be adapted to adjust the distance between the inserts, thereby accommodating variability in the width of the bottom bracket. The system may further include adapters to enable the system to be used with bicycles having bottom brackets with different diameters. The protective inserts and/or adapters may provide mechanical support to the bottom bracket, thereby protecting it from damage.
Device for bicycles and other pedal-powered vehicles
A device for bicycles or other pedal-powered vehicles is fitted with at least one crank that has a pedal at one end and a crank box on the other. The crank box is fitted with a flute and contiguous to a fixed structure fitted with a pin. The movement of the crank is limited by the pin's movement in the flute. The crank box has a torsion spring nested within it. The device is fitted with a braking mechanism of the crankshaft's sprockets, in that these sprockets engage with sprockets of a transmission box, connecting the transmission box to the toothed shaft's box. The sprockets of the transmission box, in turn, transmit their movement to the outer shaft.
CARGO TWO-WHEELER
A cargo bicycle for transporting a load via a rider. The cargo bicycle includes a front wheel, a rear wheel, a load bed arranged between the front wheel and the rear wheel, a rider seat; and a crank to facilitate the driving of the cargo bicycle by the rider, the crank having, in a longitudinal direction of the cargo bicycle, a crank axis arranged in substantially a same longitudinal position as a rear wheel axis of the rear wheel and away from the load bed.
CRANK ARM DRIVE REGULATING MECHANISM
A drive mechanism for connecting a crank arm of a bicycle crankset or the like to a crankshaft, in a selected one of at least two modes. In one available mode, a crank arm is oriented to the crankshaft at a fixed angle about the axis of rotation of the crankshaft. In another available mode, a crank arm can be rotated freely about the crankshaft in a first direction but is connected drivingly to the crankshaft by a pawl so as to rotate the crankshaft in an opposite second direction. In a third available mode, the pedal crank arm is free to rotate in either direction with respect to the crankshaft through a limited angle of rotation beyond which a pawl in one member of the drive mechanism will engage another member and cause the crank arm to rotate the crankshaft.
Pedal apparatus with actuator configured to apply variable pressures
In one example aspect, a pedal apparatus is disclosed. The pedal apparatus may include a first portion. The first portion may be configured to secure a second portion that may be attached to a footwear. The first portion may be different than the second portion. The pedal apparatus may also include at least one actuator that may be configured to apply one or more variable pressures on the second portion, which may be based one or more movements of the first portion.

CONFIGURABLE CYCLE VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONVERSION OF A CYCLE VEHICLE BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND RIDING CONDITIONS
A configurable cycle vehicle (10) has an adjustable frame (12) which is formed from a plurality of relatively configurable frame members (26, 28, 30, 32, 34), and which can be separately arranged in a first, upright riding condition, or alternatively in a second, recumbent riding condition. A method of conversion of a cycle vehicle between first and second riding conditions is also provided.
CLAMPING DEVICE, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME, PEDAL AND BICYCLE
The present disclosure provides a clamping device including a clamping device body, and a control module connected to the clamping device body, wherein the control module is configured to acquire cycling information and control locking and unlocking of the clamping device body based on the cycling information.
