Reinforcement for a hub ratchet base
A reinforcement for a hub ratchet base comprising a chain-ring and a ratchet ring. The chain-ring is made of an aluminum material having a chain-ring socket and an assembly shaft. The ratchet ring is made of a metal material with high hardness which can be the titanium alloy material or the chrome-molybdenum steel material. The ratchet ring has an engaging slot corresponding to the assembly shaft of the chain-ring. There are at least three connecting slots disposed on the ratchet ring for accepting at least three ratchet members and at least three corresponding elastic members. Each of the connecting slots of the ratchet ring has a pivoting portion on an end for engaging with a ratchet member and an engaging portion on another end for engaging with an elastic member such that the elastic member pushes against a bottom portion of the ratchet member.
Pump-action ride-along vehicle
A ride-along vehicle may include a spring/chain guard that covers a spring and chain assembly and provides an attachment point for the spring. The guard may have a narrow portion that covers and helps retain the chain on a sprocket as well as a wider portion that covers the spring. In another embodiment, the spring can be connected to a fulcrum that has a chain retention pulley, gear, guide, or wheel that keeps the chain tight in loop to improve the pump-action operation of the vehicle. An improved pumper arm and steering mechanism may include a pivot joint that is provided by rods, pins, or bolts attached to opposite sides of the pumper arm. The universal joint between the steering arm and the pumper arm can be aligned with the center of the pivot point to prevent rocking of the steering arm as the pumper arm is actuated.
Bicycle chain
A bicycle chain comprises a first outer link plate. The first outer link plate comprises a first outer-link end portion, a second outer-link end portion, a first outer-link intermediate portion, and a first outer-link longitudinal centerline. The first outer-link end portion, the second outer-link end portion and the first outer-link intermediate portion define a first outer-link outer peripheral edge. The first outer-link outer peripheral edge comprises a first outer-link end edge, a second outer-link end edge, and a pair of first outer-link intermediate edges. A first radial distance is defined from a first outer-link center axis to the first outer-link end edge in a perpendicular direction. A minimum distance is defined between the pair of first outer-link intermediate edges in the perpendicular direction. The minimum distance is smaller than 200% of the first radial distance and is equal to or larger than 5 mm.

Asymmetric bicycle chain link
A bicycle chain includes inner link members and outer link member. An inner link having two connecting openings which are formed at a distance from each other, pass through the inner link in the thickness direction thereof and are each designed for receiving a connecting component in order to connect the inner link to a further inner link in order to form an inner link member of a bicycle chain. An outer link member may be formed and attached to the inner link. The inner and/or outer links may be formed with features asymmetric about various orientations of the links.

Bicycle exercise measurement device and bicycle
An exercise measurement device comprises a housing for attaching to a frame of a bicycle, a generator, an annular rotational input member for rotationally driving the generator, the rotational input member being rotatably mounted on the housing and positioned around a crank axis line, a connecting member connecting the rotational input member to the crankshaft or the crank arm in a torque transmitting relationship, a sensor for detecting at least one of electric current of the generator, a rotational speed of the generator or the crank arm, a torque of the crank arm, a position of the crank arm, a strain in the crank arm, and a pressure on the pedal, a measurement computing unit for computing at least one of power and a pedaling force from an output of the sensor, and a display unit for displaying a computed value of the measurement computing unit.

Chainguide
A chainguide includes a mounting bracket and a guide member supported by and infinitely laterally adjustable relative to the mounting bracket.
Chain ring with teeth oppositely laterally engaging a drive chain
A drive system for a vehicle includes a chain ring and a drive chain. The chain ring has a plurality of teeth serially arranged and joined to one another. A first subset of teeth has a first outer face that applies a lateral pressure to a link of a drive chain in a first direction. A second subset of teeth has a second outer face that applies a lateral pressure to another link of a drive chain in a second direction. The teeth all have substantially the same width. The top surfaces of the teeth are offset from the centerline of the drive chain. The centerlines of the top surfaces of the teeth are arranged asymmetrically on one side of the centerline of the drive chain.
