Chain ring with teeth oppositely laterally engaging a drive chain
A drive system for a vehicle includes a chain ring and a drive chain. The chain ring has a plurality of teeth serially arranged and joined to one another. A first subset of teeth has a first outer face that applies a lateral pressure to a link of a drive chain in a first direction. A second subset of teeth has a second outer face that applies a lateral pressure to another link of a drive chain in a second direction. The teeth all have substantially the same width. The top surfaces of the teeth are offset from the centerline of the drive chain. The centerlines of the top surfaces of the teeth are arranged asymmetrically on one side of the centerline of the drive chain.
BICYCLE FRONT SPROCKET
Methods and apparatus for a composite bicycle front sprocket are disclosed herein. One embodiment discloses a composite bicycle front sprocket assembly having an outer assembly of a first material. The bicycle front sprocket assembly also has a center assembly of a second material. The center assembly is disposed at least partially within the outer assembly. The center assembly is irremovably coupled with the outer assembly. The center assembly is irremovably coupled with the outer assembly without an external fastening device to irremovably couple the center assembly with the outer assembly.

BICYCLE SPROCKET
A bicycle sprocket comprises a sprocket body and sprocket teeth. The sprocket teeth include at least one first tooth. The at least one first tooth has a first maximum chain-engaging width, a first tooth center plane, a first projection, and a second projection. The first maximum chain-engaging width is defined in an axial direction parallel to a rotational center axis. The first tooth center plane is defined to bisect the first maximum chain-engaging width in the axial direction. The first projection has a first maximum axial length defined from the first tooth center plane in the axial direction. The second projection has a second maximum axial length defined from the first tooth center plane in the axial direction. The second maximum axial length is different from the first maximum axial length.
BICYCLE SPROCKET
A bicycle sprocket includes a sprocket body, a tooth ring, and at least one non-threaded fastener. The sprocket body is made of a first material and has a rotational center axis. A central portion of the sprocket body has a central opening through which the rotational center axis passes. The sprocket body further includes a plurality of arm portions that extend radially outward from the central portion with respect to the rotational center axis. Each arm portion includes a sprocket body attachment portion. The tooth ring is made of a second material different from the first material and includes an annular portion. The annular portion includes a plurality of tooth ring attachment portions and a plurality of chain-driving teeth extending radially outward from the annular portion. The non-threaded fastener fixedly connects a sprocket body attachment portion and to a corresponding tooth ring attachment portion.
System and method for packing a human-powerable wheeled vehicle
A bicycle frame system comprises a connection module that rotatably connects a front frame section to a rear frame section. The connection module comprises a hinge section and a clamp section. The hinge section is below the clamp section when the bicycle frame system is in a ridable orientation. The connection module hinge section has a horizontal axis of rotation configured for rotating a front bicycle frame section approximately 180 degrees downwards and rearwards relative to a rear bicycle same frame section to convert the bicycle frame system from a ridable configuration to a folded configuration. The connection module clamp section comprises a front clamp block, a rear clamp block and a fastening device. The fastening device is configured to secure the front clamp block to the rear clamp block when the bicycle frame system is in a ridable configuration. The interface between the front clamp block and the rear clamp block comprises at least one v-shaped feature configured to prevent the front clamp block from moving laterally relative to the rear clamp block when the front clamp block is pressed against the rear clamp block.
