Vehicle with weight-based drive mechanism
Vehicle (110) including a frame (114), a seat mounted to the frame (114), wheels (116, 118) rotatably mounted on the frame (114), and drive mechanisms (112) for causing rotation of one wheel (116). Each drive mechanism (112) includes an arm (132) pivotally attached to the frame (114) at one end, a weight (136) and attached pedal (138) at an opposite end of the arm (132), and a guide member (142) including a bump (150) and that moves in conjunction with movement of the weight (136). The guide member (142) has a first end region at which it is pivotally attached to the frame (114) and a second, opposite end region which is free. A roller (140) attached to the arm (132) moves along the guide member (142) during pivotal movement of the arm (132) to cause pivoting of the guide member (142) as the roller (140) engages with the bump (150). An energy transfer system (148) converts pivotal movement of the guide member (142) into motive power to rotate the wheel (116).
SADDLE RIDING VEHICLE
In a saddle riding vehicle including: a sprocket driven by a power transmission member; a sprocket support member that supports the sprocket and that is connected with a wheel; a damper member that is housed in a recessed portion in a hub of the wheel and disposed between the hub and the sprocket support member, the damper member being deformed through a relative rotation between the hub and the sprocket support member; and a resistance mechanism that dampens the relative rotation between the hub and the sprocket support member, the sprocket support member includes an extension portion that covers an outer periphery of the hub from an outside in a radial direction, and the resistance mechanism is disposed between an inner periphery of the extension portion and the outer periphery of the hub.

MECHANICAL AMPLIFIER DEVICES AND APPLICATIONS
Disclosed is a mechanical amplifier device and mechanism thereof. The mechanical amplifier device comprises an input shaft, a housing and an output shaft. The input shaft receives an initial force as an input which is provided to a first wheel, thus enabling synchronous rotation of the first wheel. A lever is configured to receive the initial force from the first wheel, while the lever is attached to an outer edge of the first wheel, enabling rotation of the lever to amplify the initial force. The lever passes through a center of a fulcrum and attaches to an outer edge of a second wheel to provide the amplified initial force to the second wheel, which causes rotation of the second wheel. The output shaft then rotates synchronously upon receiving the amplified initial force from the second wheel and provides the amplified initial force to an external machine such as a bicycle.
Self-balancing two-wheeled vehicle
In an aspect, a self-balancing two-wheeled vehicle is provided, having a body, and first and second wheels rotatably coupled to the body. The second wheel has at least one lateral roller rotatable about an axis that is one of oblique and orthogonal to a rotation axis of the second wheel. At least one motor is coupled to the second wheel to control rotation of the second wheel and the at least one lateral roller. At least one sensor is coupled to the body to generate orientation data therefor. A control module is coupled to the at least one motor to control operation thereof at least partially based on the orientation data generated by the at least one sensor.

Snowmobile
A snowmobile has a frame, a ski connected to the frame, a seat connected to the frame for accommodating a driver of the snowmobile, a rear suspension assembly operatively connected to the frame, an endless track supported by the rear suspension assembly, a motor supported by the frame, and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) operatively connecting the motor to the endless track. The rear suspension assembly has a suspension assembly drive axle defining a drive axle rotation axis, and a drive sprocket mounted to the drive axle. The motor has a shaft rotatable about a shaft rotation axis. The drive axle rotation axis is positioned forwardly of the shaft rotation axis. The seat is positioned above the motor.
Motorcycle with an electrically driveable front wheel
A vehicle with a front wheel and a front wheel of a vehicle is provided. The front wheel is drivable by a first drive arrangement, and a rear wheel of the vehicle is drivable by a second drive arrangement. The first drive arrangement may be integrated into the front wheel, and includes an electric motor for selectively rotatably driving the front wheel, a reduction gear between the electric motor and the front wheel, and an actuable coupling for selectively coupling or decoupling the electric motor to the reduction gear.
