METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A MOULDED PRODUCT
20180243956 · 2018-08-30 · ·

The present invention relates to methods of manufacturing moulded products, for example building panels, and in particular, but not exclusively, to manufacturing a panel comprising natural stone or rock set into a polymeric layer. The method of manufacturing a moulded product as described herein comprises at least one article being set into a polymeric layer, followed by placing the at least one article and particulate ferrous material in a container so that at least a portion of the or each article is embedded in the particulate ferrous material, introducing a polymeric material into the container to form the moulded product, and removing the moulded product from the container.

Quad bow paddle board

A hull assembly is configured to accommodate propulsion in at least two directions at once. The hull assembly includes a dual bow board further comprising a first bow and a second bow with an insert box therebetween. The insert box travels through the dual bow board from a top side to a bottom side.

High pressure fluid swivel

A high pressure swivel is disclosed which includes swivel modules each having a stationary inner structure and a rotatable outer structure that can rotate about the inner structure. The inner structure of each module has the same number of vertical passages as the others. The inner structure of each module has a circumferential flange on the top and on a bottom lip so that each swivel unit can be secured to another swivel in its top or bottom with clamps around the flanges. The inner structures are rotatably positioned with respect to each other when assembled so that a vertical passage from a stationary base manifold to an outlet on the rotatable outer structure is formed. Various combinations of standard swivel modules can be assembled to accommodate specific swivel stack requirements for flow capacity and separate or comingled flow paths.

A retractable fin system having a retractable fin and fin box is disclosed. An example retractable fin system includes a housing insertable into an opening in a watercraft board. The example retractable fin system also includes a retractable fin. The example retractable fin system also includes a bias to maintain the retractable fin in a default outward position from the housing. The bias retracts the retractable fin into the housing on contact with an outside force.

Barge and assembly method

A barge, a barge assembly system, and assembly method are provided for assembling a barge that is constructed in component pieces sized to be capable of shipping by road or railway from a first location to a second location adjacent to a body of water for assembly of the barge. The barge assembly system includes a portable assembly device having a variety of frame elements that, when assembled, produce a structure capable of supporting barge section components that are placed thereupon so that the barge may be assembled. The barge assembly system can also include a crane for lifting the barge section components onto a support surface of the portable assembly device.

Molded pontoon boat with integrated deck and hull components
10017226 · 2018-07-10 ·

A fiberglass pontoon boat, having raised and integrated fiberglass side rails, a flat floor, and a side entry level with the flat floor. Integrated seats are molded in fiberglass. The hull and deck join together by flexing the hull to compensate for opposing draft angles of the hull and deck at the side entry. The deck has a floor and at least one other interior component, and terminates in a deck trim flange. The hull has at least two hollow pontoons and at least two side rails that extend from an outer edge of the pontoons, and the hull terminates in a hull trim flange. When assembled, the hull trim flange operatively engages beneath the deck trim flange to form a unified pontoon boat having a space between the deck and hull and wherein the side rails are integrated as structural parts of the interior component.

A hull configuration has a bow and a stern, and is for use in a single or multiple hull vessel. The hull configuration comprises: a pair of cutting edges, each cutting edge sloping rearwardly, downwardly and in an outwardly lateral direction, from the bow; a pair of keels, each keel extending longitudinally rearwardly and laterally inwardly from an end of a respective one of the cutting edges and converging at the stern; a pair of sidewalls, each sidewall extending generally upwardly from a respective one of the cutting edges and from a respective one of the keels, the sidewalls extending rearwardly to the stern; and a bottom channel defined between the cutting edges and between the keels. The channel comprises a forward portion having a concave upper surface and rearward portion having a planar upper surface. The channel decreases in width from ends of the cutting edges towards the stern.

Multi-hulled vessel having a compensating connection for reducing bearing load

A multi-hull vessel having a first hull and a second hull. The multi-hull vessel has a connecting structure, via which the first hull is connected to the second hull. The connecting structure has a displacement bearing for partially guiding a change of a position of the first hull relative to the second hull. The connecting structure is configured so that the displacement bearing is connected to the first hull via a compensating connection. The compensating connection has one or more degrees of freedom for reducing a bearing load of the displacement bearing.

Fin plug for a water craft

A fin plug (10) for a water craft, said fin plug (10) including: a top surface (15) and a bottom surface (20); at least one fin cavity (25), for receiving a base element of a fin, extending inwardly from at least one opening in the top surface (15); and at least one hole (35) or recess in the top surface (15) adapted to be filled with foam.
