Rear extensions for boats
Rear boat extensions for boats and boats having such are provided. The rear boat extensions described herein are generally suitable for boats comprising a transom and a plate that is pivotally mounted via a hinge near a bottom edge of the transom, such that the plate is pivotable about an axis of the hinge upwardly toward and downwardly away from the transom. In some embodiments, the rear boat extensions described herein may include a bottom surface including a recess and one or more sloped or curved sections disposed on either side of the recess. The recess is disposed at a front end of the rear boat extension and configured to accommodate pivoting of the plate beneath the bottom surface of the rear boat extension. The sloped or curved sections disposed on either side of the recess serve to push water toward respective outboard sides of the boat to manipulate the size and/or shape of the wake produced by the boat.

FISHING KAYAK
A fishing kayak is described comprising a body having a bow end and a stern end the body comprising a deck and a hull. The deck defines a top side of the body of the fishing kayak and the hull defines a bottom side of the body of the fishing kayak. The hull comprises a pontoon hull portion extending from the stern end of the body along a longitudinal axis of the body, the pontoon hull portion being comprised of two pontoon members positioned in an opposing relationship, the pontoon hull portion defining a concave recess to form a tunnel structure. The hull also comprises a convex hull portion extending from the bow end of the body along the longitudinal axis, the convex hull portion being comprised of a convex hull member. The two pontoon members converge into the convex hull portion to form at least in part the convex hull member.

High speed surface craft and submersible craft
A marine vessel comprising: at least one buoyant tubular foil; and at least one baffle plate positioned about the perimeter of the at least one buoyant tubular foil so as to protrude into the flow of water passing by the perimeter of the at least one buoyant tubular foil, whereby to create a high-pressure zone fore of the at least one baffle plate and a low-pressure zone immediately aft of the at least one baffle plate, whereby to create a dense stream of supercavitated water immediately aft of the at least one baffle plate.

Methods for assembling a modular floating production storage and offloading vessel
Embodiments described generally relate to methods for assembling a modular floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel. A cargo module section, a forward module, and a rear module can be positioned and aligned with each other such that the cargo module section can be disposed between the forward module and the rear module. A plurality of connectors can be coupled together to secure the forward module and the cargo module section together and another plurality of connectors can be coupled together to secure the rear module and the cargo module section together. A first topside module can be installed onto or over an upper surface of the forward module and can include a flare tower, a turret, hydrocarbon production equipment, or any combination thereof.

Monohull offshore drilling vessel
The present invention relates to a monohull offshore drilling vessel comprising a hull with a bow and a stern and a moonpool extending through the hull, the hull having an upper deck. A firing line hoist system comprising a mast is mounted on the hull. A drill floor is provided at a firing line side of the mast, which covers a portion of the moonpool while the firing line extends through an opening in said drill floor. Furthermore marine equipment and drilling equipment for performing auxiliary operations for the drilling or drilling related operations is provided, which equipment is mainly provided in the hull of the vessel below the upper deck. According to the invention, the drill floor is flush with the upper deck.
